2 Days later💋
I groaned hitting the top of my alarm clock. The Tv was blasted from Paw Patrol as usual with Ari directly in front of the screen. "Baby back up." I wiped my eyes seeing that she had a bowl of cereal. "Now who fixed you that?"
"Uncle Allen." She plopped down in the bed almost wasting milk. Today was the day I had to tell her about Rodger and I. She was going to be confused, a little hurt, and excited. Hopefully she takes to him well because according to him he's gonna be around. We were meeting at his grandmother's house. I wasn't ready to show him my place just yet, he has to earn that father of the year award. "Go wash up and get dressed for me." I kissed her forehead roughing up her hair some more making her laugh.
I got up stretching and yawning. "Rise and shine bitch." Allen waltz into my room sitting on the bed. "The next time you fix Ari some cereal make sure you here. You know she spill things." "Girl Ari is just fine. You just tryna find something to nag at so you can keep your mind off Rodger's ass." He smirked making me laugh.
"Whatever. I just hope they get along, I'm still not even sure about us. He's not the same from three and a half years ago. I'm sure he got every bitch in his face." I threw my outfit on the bed. "Girl he want his family and you're apart of that. I'm not saying let the nigga in and marry him but be open to the idea." I nodded my head listening to him. "Were you coming?" He shook his head getting off the bed. "I gotta finish these wigs from my client and I don't wanna be in y'all's way." He left me to get dressed.
I turned around in the mirror admiring these curves Ari gave me. I was a stick when Rodger met me but then again Rodger was shy and had barely any confidence.
"You look so pretty!" I turned my head seeing Ari stare me down in the mirror. I blushed, "thank you baby, you are too. C'mon." I grabbed her hand and my bag. "Mama where are we going?"
"Meet someone very special. Someone you've asked about." She looked sort of puzzled as I fastened her in. I knew this day was going to be the best day of her life, I'm hoping at least. I got in the car driving out my driveway.
"Is it my daddy?" I glanced back in up at my mirror seeing her little eyes full with questions. "It's a surprise. I took off work for this." She only smiled rocking in her seat.

"Ms. Ronda's house is the surprise?" She sounded a little disappointed. "Just wait baby." I laughed getting out the car with her. The door swung open and once she seen Rodger she jetted off. I chuckled seeing him fall with her on top, she knew this man but didn't know this man. My mother always told me when the time comes she would know who it was. I guess she was right."Baby get off." I pulled her up to her feet letting him get up. "Wassup." He licked his lips leaning in for a hug. I inhaled his scent making my eyes roll back in my head. His hands slipped to my bottom making me smirk. "Get a room." Ms. Ronda and Ari laughed at us. He guided me inside closing the door.
"I'm let you three have the room, I'll be out back." She left.
"Ari." I got her attention putting her in my lap. "This might sound a little crazy to you, or not but Rodger is your father." I took a deep breath in waiting for her reaction but didn't get one immediately. "I yearned for this day and I want you to be happy. You knew this was your father all along. I apologize to you for not telling you sooner." I sniffed trying to control my emotions. Rodger waited in anticipation like me.
Ari shifted around hugging my neck making the tears fall a little. "I forgive you mommy, you found him!" I laughed nodding my head. Rodger picked her up smiling with joy, warming my heart.
