Scarlett paced back and forth in her room. She ran a hand through her dark hair and pulled at its roots, not wanting to believe herself.

I don't like Yanjun, right? There's no way I can like Yanjun. Lies. Okay, I know I like Yanjun, but I can't like him this much.

Scarlett let out a long breath of air as she grabbed her laptop off her bed and sat it on her desk before opening it. She needed to talk to someone because she was confusing herself and she also was pretty scared of the thought of liking Yanjun so much.

She quickly pulled open FaceTime and called the first person she thought of before sitting in the chair and waiting for the person(s) to answer. When they answered she immediately blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

"I like Yanjun...a lot."

"I know."

"We been know."

"Cause your ass ain't slick."

"You guys honestly suck," Scarlett said, adjusting her laptop on her desk as she sat back in her chair. The three boys were sitting in Luke's living room, talking to her on Rui's laptop.

"It's not our fault you can't hide your feelings for him," Eunwoo shrugged his shoulders. "So...you going to ask him out or what?"

"Yay! Yanson is sailing," Rui smiled.

"I thought we said it was Yanlett."

"No, it's Yans-"

"No, I'm not going to ask him out," Scarlett cut Luke's yelling off and the boys stopped fighting and stared at the screen.

"Did he ask you out," Eunwoo asked and she shook her head.

"No...we're not going to date."

"Why the fuck not? I ship Yanson harder than I shipped Donglan," Luke asked, glancing at Eunwoo for his reaction, but Eunwoo nodded his head without hesitation.

"Justin doesn't want us to date and he was Justin's friend before we ever met."

"Fuck Justin. I mean, yeah he's your bro and that's kind of a bro code, but you guys basically eye fuck each other," he said and Scarlett looked away, mentally face palming herself.

"Luke if you don't shut your white ass up," Scarlett warned, making him burst into a fit of laughter.

"Do not. They have heart eyes whenever they look at each other. The eye fucking thing happened a lot though," Rui nodded his head and Scarlett groaned.

"You're not helping."

"I think you should go for it," Eunwoo spoke up. "I think you owe it to yourself. You've been through so much already and ever since you met Yanjun, you seem so much happier. I get that you feel like you owe Justin since you weren't able to talk to him for a long time, but that wasn't your fault, Xiulan. You've already given so much up for your brother."

The others became quiet as Eunwoo talked seriously, they weren't expecting him to be so serious, but they were happy to see he was finally telling her to move on.

"You can't always make him happy and you deserve to be happy. Don't you think?"

It was late in the night. Scarlett hadn't left her room. Instead, she packed her suitcase and thought about what Eunwoo told her.

She was so used to trying to please others and help her brother that she overlooked her own happiness. It made her happy to help Justin, but she knew Yanjun made her so much happier.

When she first met him, she never thought he would end up meaning so much to her. She had played games with a lot of people, but they would usually had given up a long time ago. Yanjun was different though. He had gone on for months playing the game and for the first time, she lost. But even though she lost, she was happy she did.

Scarlett rolled out of her bed and made her way out of her bedroom. The hallway was dark and quiet so she made sure she didn't make too much noise.

She passed Xukun and Ziyi's room then passed the staircase to make her way into the other hallway. When she reached the first door, her hand brushed against the knob, but she pulled her hand back and stared at the door.

You can do this, Scarlett thought biting her lips and wiping her hand on her shorts before placing her hand back on the knob. Touching the cold metal, she exhaled and turned the knob before pushing the door open. She heard the room's residents soft snores and tiptoed in, quietly closing the door behind her. After succeeding in closing the door, she made her way to the bed nearest to the door.

Hesitating, Scarlett tapped the sleeping boy's shoulder making him stir in his bed. She did it again when he didn't wake up and this time, he let out a groan.

"What, Zhangjing," Yanjun groaned rubbing his eyes, tiredly.

"I-I'm not Jing-ge."

Yanjun's eyes snapped open and he looked to see Scarlett standing beside his bed with her hands clasped in front of her. He noticed how sleepy she looked and how nervous she seemed.

"Crimson," he said in a raspy voice as he sat up in his bed. "Are you okay? What's-"
