third person pov"We're meeting a customer Wednesday night so you'll need to find a sitter."
Rory sat at the table next to Kailer who sat at the end. Her arm was propped up on the arm rest and her head was in her hand that played with her hair. It was the late morning and they all had stayed "home" since no one except Rory could leave during the day.
"I'm sure Mrs. Buyers won't mind," she spoke up since Jade looked distressed about it. Whenever they went to a different town, they would need a babysitter, but since they could never be in one place it was always a new one. Jade didn't get out much unless it was for work which was late at night so she didn't get to know many people.
"Who's Mrs. Buyers," Kailer glanced over to the girl in question.
"An old lady at the grocery store who often helps me. The one with the six grandchildren. We've been over this," she replied, a tinge of annoyance laced in her voice. She met Kailer's eyes that looked too protective for health before moving in the other female's direction. "I'll ask her later when I go shopping."
"Thank you," Theo smiled as Jade also sent one while holding her baby in her arms.
Rory had wondered often what it would be like to have a child of her own, however, she didn't want one then. It was for many reasons, one being that she was still young, but that wouldn't matter if she found someone she would be miserable for. Someone she would know she could fall in love with over and over again. And Rory knew that Kailer was not that person.
"Daniel should be back tonight," Kailer sighed, changing the subject as he got up out his chair. He dusted off his black pants, his brown eyes staring ahead for a moment before dropping down to Rory's face. "He's bringing his sister along."
Another mouth to feed, Rory thought what Kailer would have added on if his phone didn't start ringing. He walked off to answer it and she watched as he exited the cold, torn down room.
Daniel had told Rory a lot about his younger sister. She had been sick for a long time and was recovering from her sickness all year. Rory knew she wasn't fully recovered because Daniel had told her before he left to see her, but he didn't want her to be alone in the hospital.
Rory grabbed her wallet off the table and looked over to Jade and Theo.
"You want me to bring Toby?"

Yanjun was wearing a collared shirt under a black apron and a pair of khaki pants with some black shoes.
"You're doing good so far, Evan. I'm surprised you could keep up," Mina spoke as she stood at the cash register. Her hair was tied up in a pony tail and her pale skin was clear like the sky in spring. She was a little younger than Yanjun, but she looked around his age.
"Not my first time working," Yanjun replied lightly as he messed with one of the paper bags, running his finger down them. He had gotten a paper cut or two, but he'd felt worse pain.
"Honey, you can't put that in your mouth," Yanjun heard a familiar voice and stiffened. He watched as a cart turned into their lane and saw a girl with a little baby carseat propped on the cart.
