third person pov"Stop zoning out. We need to finish this project," Chaoze snapped his fingers in front of Dinghao.
"Why do you keep zoning anyways? You've been doing that the past couple of days," Zhangjing asked, entering the living room with snacks for them.
"He had an interview the other day and he's swooning over the girl who interviewed him," Honglin replied.
"Really? I didn't know you were looking for a job," Yanjun said, looking up from his papers. "Where was it at?"
"It's a secret," Dinghao replied before glaring at Chaoze. "I don't want to talk about it until I know if I got it or not. I told you that before, gege."
"Oops."
"What's she like though," Honglin asked, curious just like the other boys.
"Well, she's really nice. I was really nervous about the interview because the company is huge, but she was really funny and sweet. She made me comfortable about the whole thing. She's pretty young, I thought it was some joke, but she also was professional and she knew what she was doing."
"Ohh, you have a crush on your possible boss," Zhangjing pointed a finger at the boys while the others laughed. They started teasing the boy about the whole thing and his face turned red over it.
"Okay. Okay, let's get back to work," Yanjun chuckled as they heard the front door open.
"I don't think I can walk anymore," a voice said, breathing heavily. A giggled left her lips as they heard a male chuckle.
"If you want, I could carry you."
"I'll be fine. I'll probably be sore though," Scarlett replied. The boys in the living room froze and Zhangjing looked at Yanjun who had his jaw set.
Scarlett peeled off her sweater, revealing the red sports bra she was wearing that went with her black running pants that had a red stripe going down the sides.
She started leading Jeffrey to the kitchen, but stopped when she saw the boys in the living room.
"The kitchen is just down the hall. Feel free to get whatever," she told Jeffrey and he nodded with a thankful smile before walking off.
"Hey," she smiled, sweat running down her body. Her eyes looked over the boys who stared at her and she saw some familiar faces other than the two who lived with her. "Sup, Honglin."
"Hey."
"M-Ms. Huang," Dinghao stuttered, quickly getting to his feet and bowing.
"There's no need to do that," she giggled as he stood straight again. Her eyes glanced to Yanjun who was staring at her and she lifted her sweater to cover herself. "I meant to call you after my shower, but since you're here I might as well congratulate you."
"Wh-What," he stuttered, confused like the other boys.
"You got the internship," she smiled brightly. "Mr. Qui will call you to go over everything, but I'm sure I'll see you around."
With that she waved and walked off to the kitchen leaving the boys all silent until Chaoze spoke, trying to distract Yanjun.
"How do you know her," Chaoze looked at Honglin.
"I recorded a song with her last semester."
Of course, the distraction didn't work. Yanjun spoke up, eyes moving to Dinghao.
"She's mine."
Silence.
"Technically she's not," Zhangjing muttered, earning a glare from Yanjun. "Jieqiong is yours, Scarlett is free."
