"You have a daddy kink," Linkai laughed after they had finished the movie and Jieqiong left. She was mad at Yanjun for not only having not stuck up for her, but also because he kept staring at Scarlett. She saw how his eyes softened at the sight of her and she saw how in love he was with her. She hated it. She was his girlfriend, not Scarlett.
"Shut up," Yanjun muttered. Scarlett was right. He still thought of her, he thought of her when he was with Jieqiong.
Whenever he kissed Jieqiong, he imagined it was Scarlett. Whenever he hugged Jieqiong, he pretended it was Scarlett. Whenever he did anything with Jieqiong he acted like it was Scarlett. But no matter how much he pretended she was Scarlett, it wasn't her.
"You know, if you don't really like Jieqiong, you should break up with her," Ziyi said. It was almost like he read his mind. "She also kind of sort of pisses me off with her attitude."
"Same," Zhangjing nodded his head.
"Jieqiong is pretty hot though," Zhengting said, not really meaning it, but testing Yanjun. Xukun caught on and smirked.
"I guess," Xukun commented. "But Scar is really hot when she's like that."
With the blink of an eye, Yanjun grabbed Xukun by the collar. "Say that again and I will hurt you."
"And there he is," Zhangjing laughed. "He's just saying that to test you. You obviously care about Scarlett more than Jieqiong so why'd you break up with her? You can't keep dodging the question either."
"You already know why," Yanjun said releasing Xukun and apologizing.
"Oh, I know, but I still want to hear you say the mistake you made," Zhangjing nods, taking out a granola bar from his pocket. He quickly opens it and takes a bite before waiting for the explanation.
"I-"
The front door opened and the Huang siblings entered the house laughing about something.
"He looks like he's good at dancing though," Justin laughed at her story about teaching Eunwoo how to dance.
"He looked like a duck waddling around and he kept tripping, but he's better now so he has me to thank," she giggled, closing the door behind her, making sure to lock it.
"Well, he's going to be an idol so I guess we'll see when he debuts."
"Yeah," she smiled then noticed the others quietly watching them. Her eyes met Yanjun's for a moment, but it was a split second.
Scarlett decided she wouldn't bother Yanjun with his relationship anymore and she would leave him alone. She was jealous of Jieqiong for having what she wanted the most, but she knew her and Yanjun could never be together. It wouldn't work out for them no matter how hard she'd try. This is what she wanted. She wanted Yanjun to be happy with someone else and she let her feelings get in the way of that, but not anymore.
Now, she wouldn't try. She would ignore her feelings and let him go.
"Sc-"
"I'm going to bed. Goodnight," she cut Yanjun off and ran upstairs to her room.
"Goodnight," the other boys chorused. An awkward silence filled the air and they heard her bedroom door shut.
Justin made his way over to the group and his eyes moved to Yanjun.
"My sister obviously really loves you...like she really loves you. I know I said I didn't want you guys to date, but I trust you with her more than anyone else including Ting-ge. You don't really need my blessing, but you have it," Justin confessed, shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Why do I have to be part of this," Zhengting yelled at Justin who ignored him.
"Mr. Stubborn finally came around," Linkai cried, wiping fake tears from his eyes. "I knew our ship would work out."
