third person pov
Scarlett and Yanchen entered the house around eight-thirty, both tired from all the work they had done. There was a lot of walking involved and it seemed that everyone was busy. The two of them had been lucky to get home at the time they did because when they left the traffic wasn't as bad.
"I'm going to bed. Goodnight," Yanchen smiled tiredly as he took off his jacket.
"Okay. Goodnight," Scarlett smiled and kicked her heels off then made her way into the living room where she heard the tv going. She quietly came in and saw Nongnong, Linkai, Yanjun, and Zhangjing watching a movie while eating popcorn while the other boys were on their phones. Zhengting and Chengcheng were taking some selfies, Xukun and Ziyi seemed to be playing a game, and Justin was vigorously texting.
"Who you texting, J," Scarlett asked looking at her brother who was lying on the floor with his eyes on the screen. He was propped up on his elbows with the phone in his hands.
"N-No one," Justin quickly replied, throwing his phone under his body. Scarlett stared at him for a moment before feeling a presence beside her. She decided to let it go for now and saw Yanjun looking to her with a smile.
"H-" She didn't get to finish her greeting when he placed his pink lips on hers, she hadn't wasted time and kissed back.
"How was work," he asked pulling away.
"Busy. Boring," she shrugged her shoulders. "How was it here?"
"Same," all the boys muttered, still doing what they were doing except Justin who got up from his spot.
"Jiejie, Jun-ge said you had a surprise for us," Justin waddled over to them with an excited smile on his face.
"Oh," she said opening the Michael Kors tote bag she had on her arm. She made her way to the couch and sat down before taking out two watch boxes. "I got you all watches!"
"Really," the boys were suddenly paying attention and made their ways over to her.
"Yeah," she smiled and handed each of them a box from out of her purse. "If you lose them, I'll kill you."
They all seemed to tense at the seriousness of her voice. It was like it was a life or death thing.
"They're expensive and are a one of a kind set. They're waterproof and shockproof. They also have changeable straps if you don't like them," she continued, explaining to them why they were so important.
"Cool," Nongnong smiled putting his on his wrist.
"I want you to wear them all the time so you know that no matter how much time passes when we're not together, I'll always be with you. I know I haven't been able to keep in touch with you guys the past couple months, but you all mean a lot to me and I want you to remember that. You're all like brothers to me - with the exception of that idiot," Scarlett pointed to Yanjun who smirked.
"My heart," Chengcheng groans, clutching his chest while doubling over.
"What heart," Justin asked, glaring over to the overdramatic child.
"Shit, Xiao Gui's crying," Ziyi muttered, wrapping an arm around the younger brother who indeed was crying. Zhengting would've talked about his language, but decided to join the hug instead. Eventually, they all ended up in a group hug while confessing their love for each other and thanking the girl who smiled.

"Do I look cool," Yanjun asked Scarlett when the couple went into their room. He threw on his sunglasses and lifted his wrist with the watch on it.
"You look like a loser," she giggled and watched as he acted like secret agent or something. "But a really cool loser."
"How much did these watches cost? They're-"
"It's a secret," she replied, shrugging her jacket off and making her way to the bathroom. "Plus, you're not really supposed to tell someone how much a gift costs. They'll feel bad or something."
"I guess," Yanjun shrugged his shoulders although he did want to know how much it costed. He knew it would probably take years for him to come up with that kind of money. "I should probably get her a gift or something," he muttered to himself, but Scarlett heard when she got out of the bathroom wearing a silk robe.
"You are my gift," she said, frowning since she saw how in distressed he looked about the matter. She made her way over to him and took his face in her hands to make him look at her. "I don't need or want anything but you."
Yanjun stared at her, what he saw was a girl whose eyes never left him. He couldn't help, but feel like he didn't deserve her.
Instead of saying so, he wanted to show her that he could deserve her and love her even if he wasn't as rich as she was.
Yanjun smiled softly at the girl he loved so much before placing a delicate kiss on her full plump lips. The kiss made Scarlett's knees weak and her breath caught in her throat. She moved to push Yanjun onto the bed, but he stopped her and grabbed her hand, lacing their fingers together.
"I want to be gentle with you tonight," he whispered, pulling away from the kiss to look into her eyes. Scarlett looked at him and saw the love in his eyes and for a moment she saw a glimpse of the future she would have with him.
In another life.
