"You going to sit down, Red? Or am I going to have to make you," Yanjun asked, already sitting in the chair Justin once sat in. Scarlett nodded and plopped back down into her chair. She was going to lace her fingers together, but Yanjun grabbed her hand in his.
"Yanjun..."
"Crimson," he said, looking at her. She was already looking at him with a frown on her face. Scarlett bit her lips and watched as his eyes clouded with thoughts. His eyes momentarily searched hers, taking in every detail that made her her, his Crimson. "If I have to tell you nine thousand times that I love you, I will. I love you, Crimson and I get that you think that because you won't be able to give me a lot of attention and you won't always be around, we shouldn't be together, but I don't care. As long as you're my only and I'm your only then that's enough for me. I told my family that I'm going to marry you one day and I have every intention to, but I also know that that's not the only reasons you can't be with me. But I want you to know that I believe that you can do anything you set your mind to, on your own. I'm not just saying this because I want you for myself, but because I believe in you more than I believe in anyone. I know that you can do anything even without me."
He sighed and reached over to cup her face in his free hand.
"I...I know that I'm not what you need for your business. I'm not educated in that way and I wish so much that I was because I want to be the one for you. I want to help you and I want to be right beside you, but I'm not qualified. I understand why you need to marry Andrew and as much as I envy and hate the hell out of that guy, if he's what you need then I can't really do anything about it. I don't want you to constantly worry that something bad is going to happen to your family's company and I don't want you to stress so much. I don't want to watch you turn into a worst workaholic or look like a corpse ever again. If there was a way that I could help you, I would - I will. If you have to marry Andrew for this reason I'm willing to wait for you or let...let you go."
Scarlett stared at him as tears escaped his eyes, it made her own eyes water and soon her own tears left her eyes. She was the first to close the distance between the two of them. Her lips landed on his and the two of them shared a long, heartfelt kiss. Scarlett's fingers got caught in his hair and when it ended, the two of them fell cold like the winter.
"I'm sorry."

"Ms. Huang," Amanda said, standing in her office door with Mr. Qui who was frowning at her. "Your fiancé is here."
Scarlett wiped her tears away as she sat up in her desk chair. Her desk was filled with papers and random things that she was given to look over. She quickly tidied up a little and made sure she looked decent.
She was expecting Andrew today since she was going to spend time with him and his parents. There was a lot to talk about with them and Scarlett knew that today would be important for their future. She needed to make a good impression even though she didn't really care about their relationship.
Scarlett knew that she was just a trophy to Andrew and that she and her company would be help to him like his would be help to her. It felt wrong to do what she was going to, but she needed to do it for her. She knew that the expectations were great and if she let people down, it would be the end for her and her family's company,
She had to do this right or things wouldn't be good.
"Send him in."

Scarlett pulled up to the house with her phone against her ear. She parked in her usual spot beside Yanjun's car and sat inside as she finished her phone call.
"Yes...of course. We're good friends," she agreed with the man on the other side of the line. "Yes, sir. Thank you. You won't regret it. Thank you...you too. Tell him I said hello. Thank you...I'll keep in touch. Goodbye."
Scarlett let a loud sigh leave her lips and she threw her phone into her purse before getting out of her car. When she got into the house, the boys and the only other girl were in the living room watching tv. She muttered her greeting and they did so back, but that was all.
Scarlett went upstairs and prepared herself for her engagement dinner.
