third person pov"What'd you say to Justin? He doesn't look pissed and he's not whining about us," Yanjun asked Scarlett as they walked around the festival holding hands.
"Nothing. He was just okay with us."
"You're lying," Yanjun glanced down at the girl who now wore a sheepish grin.
"I told him I would teach him how to flirt with girls."
"I feel attacked. I already gave him the ins and outs of flirting with females. Does my artistry mean so little to the-"
"Well, he probably couldn't find professional help until now," Scarlett replied. It took him a second to understand what she just said and when he got it, he narrowed his eyes at her.
"Well I got you, didn't I?"
"I'm pretty sure you fell for me first," Scarlett smirked, leaving Yanjun to fall silent. "Anyways, he said he'll only back off for now so enjoy it while it lasts."
Scarlett didn't notice, but there were some girls glaring at her in envy as she and Yanjun talked and laughed with one another. However, Yanjun took notice of it and pulled Scarlett closer to him.
"So how long are you going to be in America," Yanjun asked after he and Scarlett ate some food from the booths.
"A week or so," she answered with a small frown. "Andrew's party is on Saturday and I'm flying back on Sunday morning. I thought I was only going to the party, but my father called me and told me I would be looking over some of the work they're doing out there."
"That sucks. At least you don't have to come to school," he smiled, but she puffed her cheeks, thinking about the work she would have to make up. "I wish I could go with you."
"Me too," Scarlett sighed.
"Oh, Xiulan! Yanjun," a woman called making the couple look around. It didn't take them long to find the source since the woman was wearing some expensive clothing, earning looks from many people.
"Mom," Scarlett said, pulling Yanjun with her.
"Mrs. Huang," Yanjun bowed, releasing Scarlett's hand for a moment.
"I told you all last-wait, you weren't at the table during that time. Sweetie, call me Mom," Mrs. Huang smiled, then saw Yanjun take Scarlett's hand in his again. Her eyes moved over the young adult's and saw how bright her daughter's smile was. "Looks like I owe your father a new golf club."

"I'm not sure why, but I was sure you had a thing with that Cai Xukun," Mrs. Huang told her daughter as they sat in the crowd, waiting for Justin and the others to perform their songs.
"No way. Xukun and I have always been just friends...I can't believe you made a bet about me and whoever I'd end up with," Scarlett sighed sitting back in the chair.
"Xiulan, close your legs."
"Mom, I'm wearing pants," she replied, but close her legs anyways. "I'm surprised Dad bet on Yanjun, but then again, he did stick me in a suite with him."
"Yeah, I think that was a cheat, but your father didn't want you in a hotel alone. Your father loves you a lot and he trusts Yanjun after seeing how caring he is towards you."
"Yeah, I wish Justin felt the same."
"Your brother trusts Yanjun, but you know him. He loves you and doesn't want you to disappear again...Xiulan, you should tell him about what happened. You shouldn't leave him in the dark. He's always going to think that you didn't talk to him because-"
"I think it'll scare him more, knowing the truth. It was my fault it even happened so Justin doesn't need to know about it. You know how he is, he'll over think the whole thing and pin it on himself. He doesn't need that pressure," Scarlett replied, quietly.
"You have too many secrets, Xiulan. You have more pressure on you and it will grow when your father passes the company to you. You should rethink if you want to really take up the business."
Scarlett opened her mouth, but she saw Yanjun peeking out from the side of the stage. He was wearing different clothes now and he was looking at her and waving towards her. A giggle left her mouth as she waved back and saw him smirk before sending her a wink.
"He's very cute," Mrs. Huang commented, seeing the small scene. "Your father is betting you two will marry."
"That old man is crazy. It's too early to even think about that."
"Yes, but I think he'll win the bet. He really likes Yanjun, but even if you didn't marry him I'm sure he'd be happy with whoever you choose as long as you're happy with them - oh look! They're coming on."
Like Scarlett promised, she mostly watched Justin during the first song. Her smile grew at she watched her brother have fun on stage, but caught sight of Yanjun often since he was the center of the song. While he sung, he watched her and had a difficult time focusing since he saw her face grow red. She watched each other the boys as it went on and was proud of them all.
"Your brother has grown a lot, huh," Mrs. Huang asked.
"Yeah, I wish there was a potion so I could make him stay young forever. He's already trying to date college girls."
"Remind me to ground that child."
"That's not going to work," Scarlett shook her head grabbing her water bottle off the floor beside her chair.
"Hey, Scarlett," someone said and sat in the chair next to her. Her head turned and saw a friendly face that she hadn't seen in a while.
"Hey, Vin," Scarlett smiled. Mrs. Huang immediately recognized the boy and the two of them ended up talking, leaving Scarlett in the middle to listen. It didn't last long since the next song began to play and they both quiet down.
Yanjun's eyes didn't seem to move from Scarlett's as he performed the song with the others. He watched as she unscrewed her bottle of water in the middle of the song and lifted it to her lips. Her eyes were on him while she did so and a certain part of the choreography left Scarlett choking on her water. She had spit some out, some getting on Ruibin as she tried to look away.
Yanjun, of course, saw the whole scene and had to hold back his laugh as he finished the song. When it ended, he ran off stage and Scarlett could hear his laughs already.
Mrs. Huang, Scarlett, and Ruibin left the audience and Mrs. Huang ran off to get some napkins before coming back and aiding Scarlett.
"You okay," Ruibin asked, patting her back as she calmed down. Her cheeks were a deep shade of red and she was clutching her chest trying to stop her shuddering heart.
"Xiulan, you scared the Prada off of me," Mrs. Huang said and Scarlett tried not to roll her eyes.
"Hey, hands off my girlfriend," Yanjun ran over, no longer laughing about what happened. Ruibin immediately put his hands up in surrender and moved away from Scarlett. Yanjun replaced him and Scarlett sent him a look.
"You really have some nerve."
