Scarlett stared out the window of the car on Saturday afternoon. She had spent the day working and had also met with Andrew. She had wanted to spend the day with Yanjun and the others, but work had to come first.
"I heard what he said...you're not going to listen to him, are you," Yanchen asked, glancing over to Scarlett as he drove the two of them to the restaurant they were meeting the others at.
Yanchen had sat into the meeting between the two of them, doing some work, but had been eavesdropping.
During the meeting, Yanchen decided he didn't like Andrew and he understood why Scarlett didn't either. Andrew was supposed to be helping her, but instead he was putting thoughts into her head. He was making her second guess herself and he knew that. He saw the look in her eyes.
"He's right though," Scarlett replied looking off. "I'm being selfish."
"Yanjun loves you and you love him. He'll understand."
Scarlett knew that Yanjun would understand, but she also knew what was at stake for him. Yanchen might have thought he knew everything, but just like the boys, he didn't know the company was going to be hers and he also didn't know that her past was still haunting her.
Everything was catching up on her and sooner or later she would have to let Yanjun go.

"It was so cool! I wish we could actually go up to it," Nongnong said talking about the Hollywood sign.
"Jun-ge kept taking pictures of himself so we took longer than we thought," Justin added as he ate his food. Chengcheng and Zhangjing didn't talk the whole time since they were stuffing their mouths.
"Then we went to Universal Studios and I got this," Xukun said holding up the ball he had in his lap. Scarlett was confused why he had brought it into the restaurant, but didn't say anything.
"He was trying to cast spells on some plants," Zhengting jerked his thumb towards Yanjun who smiled about it.
"I was trying to make a love potion that would make you fall deeper in love with me."
"I don't think you'd want that. I'd probably end up being super clingy and obsessed over you," Scarlett replied, living in the moments she had left with Yanjun.
"You'd have a case of crazy girlfriend," Ziyi nodded his head.
"Not that jiejie is already crazy," Linkai muttered and Scarlett raised an eyebrow.
"You haven't seen crazy and I hope that you never do."
Hunter was crazy...he still is if it's actually him and not...never mind, Scarlett waved herself off. There's no way it could be her.
Scarlett thought of the possibilities of it being either one or the people she was thinking about, but it seemed she was going in a circle. She needed to figure it out.
"Crimson," Yanjun said, snapping her from her thoughts.
"Hmm?"
"You okay? You zoned out for a while," he said, taking her hand in his under the table.
"I'm fine. Just a little tired," she smiled and he believed it, just like she hoped he would.

"I have to go back to the company building. They have more papers you need to look over and sign," Yanchen stated as he pulled up to the house. "Did you want me to pick anything up on the way back?"
"No thank you. Just drive safely," Scarlett smiled, getting out of the car.
"You sure? My phone died so if you do need anything I won't be able to get it until tomorrow."
"I'm good. Thanks," she replied.
"Okay. See you," he showed his white teeth and she shut the door before he drove off. She watched the car until she could no longer see it then turned to see all the other boys waiting at the door.
"Why are you just standing there," Scarlett asked, making her way up to the house.
"You have the key...don't you?"
"What? I thought you guys had the key," Scarlett shook her head and it seemed all their eyes widened at the same time.
"I'll call Yan-"
"His phone is dead," Scarlett cut Linkai off and made her way through the group of them.
"Is there a spare key here or..."
"I didn't get one," she replied running a hand through her hair and found two pins she had.
"So we have to stay out here till he gets back," Zhangjing pouted most likely think about the food he hid inside.
"No," Scarlett said pulling the pins out and moved towards the door. "Give me some light."
"Are you serious," Zhengting asked, but took his phone out and turned on his flashlight.
"I can do it," she said, unbending them and kneeled down to the handle.
"There's no way that's going to-" Zhengting's words stopped when they all hear a loud click and Scarlett stood to her feet before pressing down and pushing the door open. She stepped foot into the house and flicked light switch on before turning and looking at him.
"I'm sorry, what were you saying?"
"That was so cool! How'd you do that," Justin asked Scarlett as everyone made their way into the house.
"Magic," she replied as Yanjun closed the door and locked it.
"Teach-"
"No, now run off before I ground you," Scarlett said and he quickly left, leaving his sister and Yanjun.
"Seems like you have a bunch of tricks up your sleeve," Yanjun said making his way to her, but he wasn't the one to close the space between them.
Her hand took his and when she looked up at him, all he saw were pitch black lustful eyes.
"I'll show you more tonight."
