"Crimson," Yanjun called, opening her bedroom door, but she wasn't inside. Yanjun frowned, but closed the door and pivoted on his heels. He was about to walk down the hall, but decided to try her other room. To Yanjun's dismay, Scarlett wasn't in that room either, but he noticed her computer was on.

He knew she didn't like to keep it on so he went to turn it off, but something caught his eyes.

Her music production software was pulled up and there was a song titled : for my favorite person in the world lyj

His eyes flickered to the date and he raised a dark eyebrow. It was a little after Justin's birthday that it was made.

"Interesting," Yanjun muttered and looked over his shoulder, just in case. Yanjun had never heard his girlfriend sing before, she was supposed to at the festival held at the school, but she cancelled her performance. He was let down, of course, but he understood.

However, curiosity got the best of him and he hit the play button for the song.

He first heard the piano then Scarlett clapped her hands together, creating a loud smack. Yanjun jumped and clicked pause on the song before his head whipped in her direction. He knew he was dead the moment she saw him on her computer listening to her song that she didn't invite him to listen to, but he didn't regret finding it.

"What are you doing," Scarlett crossed her arms, watching him. He looked like a child who got caught sneaking candy into his pockets.

"Crimson," he smiled, coaxing her. "I-I was looking for you!"

"I'm not virtual, Yanjun," she shook her head as she made her way to him. Her hand took his and she pulled him from the chair before dragging him out.

"You wrote a song about me?"

"Mhmm, it's about how annoying you are."

"Sure...it sounded pretty. You know, it was written in March, right? Thus meaning I've been your favorite person in the world even before we started dating," Yanjun said in triumph as she dragged him down the hallway. He then went onto hint at what his mom said about him liking her since they met. "Looks like I'm not the only one anymore."

Scarlett stopped and turned to Yanjun, dropping his hand in the process. Her arms folded in front of her chest and Yanjun looked down at her like she was a little girl who had her teddy bear taken from her.

"I-It was named something else before," she pointed a finger.

"Sure, Crimson...It's okay if you've had a crush on me since then. Many women fall for me."

"I will kick you out," Scarlett threatened, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Sure you would. It's okay. You're the only woman for me, remember?"

"You probably say that to all the girls. I'm serious! I will kick you out!"

Yanjun didn't fall for it though, he laughed and threw his arm around her shoulders.

"S-Stop," she whined, but her lips pulled into a smile. She buried her face into his chest, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"No way," he laughed wrapping his other arm around her.

She blushed as she pressed her ear to his chest and heard the sound of his heart. She moved her head to look up at him and he lifted his head from hers. He watched as she cutely blinked up at him and knew what she wanted. He smiled and pressed a kiss on her cheeks, her forehead, then finally her lips.

"More," Scarlett murmured against his lips.

"You're a brat," he laughed, pulling away. He grabbed her face between his fingers and thumb, squishing her face, softly before pecking her lips. He let go of her face and saw the blush on her face. A smile grew on his face and she turned even more red, she hid her face from him once again and he laughed. "You're such a cutie, Crimson."

"Stop~"

Yanjun flew home the second day after hearing the news that Scarlett would be marrying Andrew. Yanjun couldn't be in the same house as her. His heart broke even just thinking about her and how much he wanted her. How much he needed her.

He tried to avoid her, but failed. He had come out of his room in the morning and saw her talking to some girl. She had on a smile and even though her smile usually made him smile, he couldn't copy it even if he tried.

He felt so blank without her. He felt like a canvas that someone punched a hole through and didn't want to use. He felt like the old toy a child placed in the shelf and didn't want to play with anymore.

He felt so much pain. He lost her, he lost the girl he loved. She was going to be happy without him and even though part of him wanted to be happy for her, he couldn't be. She made him happy.

"I-I'm sorry I couldn't bring her back like I promised," Yanjun cried, sitting in front of his father's grave.
