The next morning, Scarlett woke up early. Yanjun was softly snoring beside her, his hair was messy and his arms were wrapped around her. As he slept, Scarlett smiled, watching him and tracing the features of his handsome face.
Not wanting to wake him, Scarlett slipped out of his arms and made her way into the bathroom, tip toeing and stealthily moving. She quickly made herself decent and threw on a red sweater that Yanjun had given her before she left China.
When she finished brushing her teeth, washing her face, and fixing her hair, she exited the room, making sure not to wake up the sleeping boy.
"Good morning," Scarlett smiled, seeing Zhengting cooking in the kitchen, Yanchen and Chengcheng were on their phones, Xukun was humming while waiting for food, and Nongnong was messing with some things in his hands.
"Morning," the boys echoed awkwardly except Linong who perked up upon seeing her.
"How'd you all sleep last night," Scarlett asked looking at the boys.
"Good...I'm surprised you're awake this early. I was sure you and Jun-ge would be-"
"What are you saying," Scarlett narrowed her eyes at Zhengting who was talking. When she saw how his cheeks were a shade of rosy pink she quickly spoke up, "w-we didn't do that, you nasty! There are children here!"
"Do what," Linong asked looking between the two of them. The both of them opened their mouths to try to make something up since it was their Nongnong, the innocent baby of the group.
"Wrestle," Yanjun said entering the room wearing sweats. His glasses sat on his face and his hands were tucked into his pockets. "Crimson and I haven't wrestled yet."
Really? He had to use that term, both Scarlett and Zhengting thought as they looked at the older boy.
"Wouldn't you crush her," Linong asked as Yanjun stood behind Scarlett. His hand resting on her hip as his chest pressed against her back.
"What time are we leaving? I need time to look amazing," Justin asked entering the kitchen. He didn't seem to pay attention to the people talking, but Scarlett was happy about it.
"Probably at ten or eleven," Yanchen replied, now sitting beside Chengcheng who was showing him his collection of memes.
"I don't think this is the best thing to talk about," Scarlett went back to their conversation and pushed Yanjun's hand away and sent him a warning look.
"Why? It's just-"
"Oh look! Breakfast is almost ready. Help me wake up the others," Scarlett grabbed Linong by the hand and dragged him along with her to wake the others.
"Aw c'mon, Crimson," Yanjun laughed, messing with the girl who raised her hand and stuck the middle finger at him. "Maybe later? Tonight?"
"Yanjun!"

"The house is nice," Yanjun told Scarlett as she showed him around the estate. "I can see why you hate it since there are so many rooms, but at least it's not that big."
"Yeah, but I wish Yihui just got me a small house. This is the smallest one he sent me," Scarlett replied glancing out the window at the pool.
"That would've made sense to go smaller, but you're a rich princess any-"
"Please don't call me a princess," Scarlett almost whispered, suddenly thinking about something else. She hated the nickname now, it made her want to throw up and cover her ears forever. She often cringed hearing pet names like that in general like hers for Yanjun, but she made an exception for him. However, she absolutely hated being called Princess.
"Well, you're a queen or my queen so I wouldn't exactly call you a princess anyways," Yanjun said, lifting her hand to his lips and kissing it. It pulled her back to him and she gave him a soft smile, thankful to have him.
"I love you," she admitted.
"I love you too and you're going to love me even more tomorrow. I have a surprise for you," he smiled down at her, looking more excited than her, causing her to giggle.
"Why do you do this to me?"
"Because I love you, you're adorable, and you're my girl."
"You're too much," she sighed, dragging him along with her to show him around more.
"I just want to love you," he whined like a child as she pulled him into her office. When they got inside, his eyes roamed the room and he saw the clean desk that had a tray of papers, her laptop, and a couple other things like pens and books. "That desk looks like a stable place."
"What do you-Yanjun!"
