"Yi-ge, could you take me to the airport tomorrow? My flight is at one, but I should probably head over there a little early," Scarlett asked as she plopped down on the couch beside him.

"Yeah, we'll leave at eleven thirty?"

"Perfect," she nodded then saw Yanjun enter the room.

"Jiejie, you got mail," Linong said, standing in the doorway with a box in his hands. It was a brown box that was half the size of a shoe box, but Scarlett noticed a how there was a dark splash marks on the box with the bottom being cover in whatever it was. It looked like it had been dropped into a middle of mud, but she remember the last time she saw a box like that and her stomach lurched.

Scarlett shot up off the couch and took the package out of Linong's hands muttering a thank you before walking out the front door with the box.

"What's up with her," Zhangjing asked as Yanjun stared at the door, waiting for Scarlett's return.

"Should we wait for her," Chengcheng asked.

"She'll be fine," Linkai waved it off and the others slowly nodded their heads, going with whatever.

Outside, Scarlett sat in her car. The package she received was in the passenger seat where she placed it when she got in.

It doesn't smell, Scarlett thought, but still. She didn't feel good about the box being there.

She gripped the steering wheel, her knuckles turning white as she did so. She didn't want to open the box. She hadn't even wanted to touch it when she saw it, but now she knew for certain it was Hunter.

With shaky hands, Scarlett reached over and took the box, placing it in her lap. She then popped open her glove box and fished out the small knife she had inside before flipping the blade out.

"It's okay," she told herself as she placed the blade on the top of the box where there was tape sealing it. She slowly slid the knife across, the tape breaking and the flaps of the box popping up, ready to be opened.

Scarlett swallowed hard as she put the blade away. She squeezed her hands into fists trying to get rid of her nerves, but she was still so nervous.

Her hands took the opening of the box and pulled it open. She looked down and relief flooded her, she saw an envelope along with a phone.

She quickly picked the envelope up and tore it open. Her shaky hand grabbed the folded paper inside and she quickly read it.

Thought there would be another animal heart? You know I don't like doing the same trick more than once, but taking you back I will. See you in your nightmares, Princess.

Scarlett licked her dry lips as she took the phone out of the box. It was a silver iPhone 6s with a small crack on the screen. She pressed on the side button and it came to life. The black apple appeared on the screen with a white background.

In a split second there was a picture of Scarlett as the screen saver. Her lips had a cut and there was a long line of blood on her forehead, she was sleeping.

Tears came to her eyes as she stared at the screen, although her mind screamed at her not to look further into the phone she did. When she pressed the home button, the first thing to pop up was the photos, but a video came up.

She sucked in a breath of air as she pressed the play button. She heard his voice and watched herself on the screen. She was screaming and crying for help that would never come. Her cries echoed through the building and no one had ever heard her.

A sob left Scarlett's mouth as she locked the phone and threw it into the box. She quickly got the box off her lap and threw it into the back seat.

She ran a shaky hand through her hair and tried to calm herself down, but she was hyperventilating. She felt her chest tightening and her stomach lurch like she missed a step on the stairs. It was like there was a hand around her throat and it was squeezing her like a python.

Yanjun came out of the house in search of Scarlett. She had been outside for at least fifteen minutes and he didn't like how her face paled when she left.

His eyes scanned the area and he saw her sitting in her car. As he got closer he noticed how in distress she looked. Tears were falling down her face and her chest was rising and falling at a fast pace. She didn't even seem to notice when he was right outside of her car.

Yanjun quickly grabbed the handle of her door and pulled it open.

"Crimson," Yanjun said, pulling her out of the car. She stumbled and he pulled her into his arms, wrapping her in his protection.

"I'm sorry. I-I'm sorry, Yanjun," she sobbed, her hands grasping onto his shirt like it was the edge of a cliff and if she let him go, she would fall.

"It's okay. You're okay," he mumbled against her hair, rubbing her back. "Just breathe."
