third person pov"Marry Andrew," Scarlett repeated, staring at Mr. Qui in shock. The man nodded his head with a serious look on his face and Scarlett laughed. "No. Hell no. That's guy is a stick in the mud, an asshole, and a total snob. I'm not going to marry him."
"I told you you wouldn't like it. You said you're not ready to take over your father's company," Mr. Qui replied, watching as she paced the empty hall of the hospital. "He has experience and it's not like you're going to be married to him forever. Plus, everyone will be watching your every move. You're only twenty years old and you're a woman. They aren't exactly up for that."
"I know," Scarlett sighed, frustrated. "How do we even know he'll be up for it? We don't-"
"He asked your father for your hand a couple months ago," Mr. Qui cut her off. Scarlett stopped pacing and looking over to him.
"What?"
"Andrew asked your fath-"
"I know what you said, but...really? What'd he say? My father, I mean."
"Your father said that it was your choice. If you wanted to marry Andrew then he would give him his blessing, but that was when his condition wasn't that bad."
"Isn't there anyone else," Scarlett asked. "Anyone, but that spoiled brat."
"No...not unless you want to marry a fifty year old man. You can't be picky, Xiulan. It's either Andrew or you're on your own...think about your grandfather and father. They worked their whole lives to build this company."
"I know...I know."

"S-Scarlett," Xudan stuttered, coming out of the bathroom with wet hair and dressed in Scarlett's clothes.
Scarlett had been staring at her hands in thought. When she got home, everyone was asleep and the house was silent.
"Yeah," Scarlett looked up and saw the girl wearing a sweater and a pair of her sweatpants. She had just showered and Scarlett had cleaned her cuts that she had. "Let's eat, yeah?"
The girl nodded her head and Scarlett smiled before leading her out of the room. The two of them made their way downstairs and heard the boys in the kitchen.
Scarlett heard them talking about Yanjun and how he had been crying all night. She had to stop for a second, she hated herself for hurting Yanjun. She hated that she was causing him pain, but she prayed that he would move on soon so that she no longer hurt him.
"Y-You live with a lot of b-boys," Xudan said, standing behind Scarlett as they entered the room. The boys all looked towards them, Yanjun wasn't amongst them, of course.
"Jiejie, who's that," Chengcheng cut the silence, looking at the girl behind her.
"Xudan," the girl's name left Nongnong's lips. He blinked at her and Xudan's eyes widened at the sight of him.
"N-Nongnong," she stuttered, staring at the boy with her mouth agape.
"What? How do you know each other," Scarlett asked, confused like the other boys. She looked at Chengcheng, silently asking if he knew her too, but he shook his head.
"Sh-She's my ex-girlfriend," Nongnong confessed and everyone let out an awkward laugh.
"Liar," Linkai pointed a finger at Linong.
"Actually, i-it's true," Xudan said with a soft voice.
And that's when it happened, almost everyone went wild. Xukun gripped his hair, pulling at its roots. Chengcheng was jumping up and down like he was standing on lava. Xiao Gui had his jaw on the floor and blinked his eyes in shock. Zhangjing stopped eating, Justin stiffened in his chair suddenly forgetting that he wasn't innocent. Ziyi was silently praying and Zhengting was smacking his hand on the table multiple times.
"Our baby had a girlfriend," Zhengting screeched and Scarlett felt bad for Xudan, who most likely thought they were all crazy. She looked over to the girl to see if she was scared, but the girl had on a smile. Her eyes were bright and sparkled like the sea during a sunset.
"They're funny, huh," Scarlett smiled, her eyes moving back to the boys who were still freaking out over their baby Nongnong having a significant other.
"Yeah...they're definitely something."
