Scarlett stood in front of a door. Her hand was raised in a fist to knock, but she was hesitating.

Stop being a baby. Just do it, Scarlett thought to herself and knocked on the door. She didn't really think about it so when she did it, she was pretty shocked.

The door almost immediately opened, revealing Justin who was studying in his room since he had a test on Monday and was horrible at math.

His eyes looked down on his short older sister. He bit the inside of his cheek and noticed how dark her under eyes were. Her skin was really pale, she looked sick.

"You look really bad," Justin commented, not really knowing what else to say.

"Thanks. Put a sweater on and hurry downstairs," Scarlett ordered and pivoted to walk away, but Justin's voice stopped her.

"It's late. I should-"

"Put a sweater on and hurry downstairs," she repeated and walked off leaving him speechless.

Scarlett skipped down the stairs with her wallet and phone in her hands. Her keys were on a lanyard hanging around her neck.

"Jiejie, where you going," Linkai asked when she passed by the living room. She back tracked and saw all of the other boys, with the exception of Linong and Chengcheng, sitting on the couch watching tv with a guest who sat beside Yanjun. Jieqiong.

"I'm going to hangout with Justin," she shrugged her shoulders before getting her shoes she threw into the hallway closet. She dropped them to the floor and slipped them on. Scarlett walked back over before crouching down and actually tying the shoes.

"Why? Because you can't get a date," Jieqiong asked scooting closer to Yanjun. His jaw clenched as he glared at her, but she ignored it.

Scarlett's tongue poked her cheek as a smile grew on her face. She stood up, her hair whooshing behind her and she looked over to the other female who had a smug look before she spoke.

"I'd watch that pretty mouth of yours, sweetie, cause last time I checked I dated and fucked your boyfriend."

The boys all tried to focus on the movie, but some of them snickered even though their faces were pink.

"He's not with you anymore though," Jieqiong crossed her arms.

"Maybe not, but he probably still thinks about me," Scarlett smiled, eyes moving towards Yanjun who quietly watched her. She winked at him and his face went red at her next words. "Right, Daddy?"

"Where are we going," Justin asked Scarlett quietly eating his ice cream. It was dark out and Scarlett took a different way then usual.

"It's a surprise," she muttered, focused on the road.

I need to control myself. That was really uncalled for, but she made me so mad, Scarlett thought about her words. Acting all high and mighty in someone else's house like she owns the place. How disrespectful.

"The park," Justin murmured. She didn't realize she had already parked because she kept thinking about how Jieqiong tried to embarrass her in her own home.

"Yup," Scarlett popped the p, before the two of them got out of the car. She locked the door as the two of them made their way to the swing set.

Scarlett sat in her regular seat, the one on the right while Justin took a seat on the one on the left. The two of them swung in silence until Scarlett spoke up.

"I know it's late and I wasn't able to keep my other promise. I'm sorry, Justin," Scarlett said, glancing over to her brother. He was slowly swinging while eating his ice cream, staring at the ground.

"It's okay. Actually, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up in the first place," Justin said looking over to her with a frown. "Mom told me how it didn't end up well and you didn't like talking about him. Eunwoo even told me not to bring him up, but I was just really upset I guess."

"It's okay except I still don't want you going anywhere near that Chengxiao. I'm serious," Scarlett sent a warning to him.

"I know...I don't really like her. She was teaching me how to kiss," Justin confessed looking away from his sister. "I like this other girl..."

"She better not be as old as Chengxiao or I will end you...tell me about her."

"She's not as old as Jiejie, she's a couple months younger than me. Her name is Anesthesia...I've had a crush on her since last year, but I don't - I can't talk to her. I get so flustered and my palms sweat. That's why I've been asking you and Jun-ge to teach me how to flirt, but I can't. You guys make it look so easy."

"It wasn't always easy," Scarlett chuckled thinking about before she even moved to America. "But I think that if you're going to talk to her, talk to her about something general or help her or ask her to help you with something. That's the best way to start a conversation. Do you have any classes with her?"

"Math, but I'm so dumb. It's embarrassing," he finished his ice cream and shoved the paper that wrapped the cone into his sweater pocket.

"Math is hard...ask her to help you though. Two birds, one stone. She can tutor you at home, but doors open or else," she sent him a look before continuing.

"Nobody is perfect, J. Yanjun is as dumb as it gets, but I love him. Seriously, I told him we were going to play rock, paper, scissors without paper and he put scissors," Scarlett laughed at the memory and Justin watched as her bright smile disappeared into thin air. "But if she doesn't love you for you then she doesn't deserve you. You have a lot to offer...remember that."
