After the first two movies, everyone was hungry. It was about 1:30 in the afternoon. "Iris what do you have to eat around here?" Mason asked, standing from the couch.

"I'm not too sure." It had been about a week since I had eaten at home. Everyone else wasn't home, either, so I assumed we didn't have much. Caleb confirmed the suspicions when he opened the fridge and cursed.

"Jesus when was the last time you went grocery shopping?"

"I have no idea." I answered, digging around the pantry. "I'm not the best cook, either." Suddenly, Flynn came up beside me, bumping his hip against mine.

"Don't worry, I can whip something up." I rolled my eyes.

"No offense, but I don't feel like getting food poisoning." Briar called from the couch.

"Then you don't know Flynn at all. He's actually a pretty good cook." Landon replied. I lived an eyebrow and Flynn shrugged. He turned to the pantry and rummaged through it for a minute.

"I can make some basic pasta with tomato sauce." He concluded, holding a jar of sauce and spaghetti.

"That works." Damon replied.

"Can you grab me a pot, Iris?" I opened up a drawer and filled the pot with water before returning it to the stovetop, which Flynn had already ignited.

"I'll set the table." I offered meekly, gathering nine sets. Briar and Paisley helped me while the boys assisted Flynn in the kitchen. "This is so embarrassing." I whispered.

"It really isn't. I don't really know how to cook much either." Paisley replied.

"Yeah I can't cook, either." Briar added.

"So none of you ladies are cooks?" Damon asked from the kitchen. This kid had damn good hearing.

"Not really." Briar answered. Damon shook his head.

"Well that's a shame." We frowned and he chuckled. "Lighten up. I was just kidding! The last time I tried to bake cupcakes, they lit on fire in the oven." Paisley's face lit up.

"No way! Me too!" She rushed to his side and the two of them conversed about their cooking misadventures.

"Pasta's ready!" Flynn announced a few minutes later. He brought the bowl to the table and everyone took a seat. Flynn pulled a chair up next to me and we all began eating. "Tell me how you guys like it."

About five minutes later, the pasta was devoured. "That was so good. I had no idea a boy could cook that well." Paisley commented, taking her bowl to the dishwasher. "Onto number three?"

Four movies later, it was around 10:30 at night. Everyone else was asleep on the couch. Thankfully, no one was laying on top of me, so I slid  away from the couch and tried to silently escape to my bedroom. Suddenly, a hand grabbed me from behind and the other clamped over my mouth before I had the chance to scream. I turned around, ready to face my attacker only to be met by a grinning Flynn.

"Don't do that to me! I'm a jumpy person!" I hissed furiously.

"Well now I know even more about you." Flynn responded, that goofy smile still plastered to his face. "Where were you going?"

"My room to sleep."

"Can I come too?" I thought  for a moment and decided to ignore my better judgment for the second time with this boy.

"Sure." I turned around and led Flynn into my room, avoiding eye contact. Flynn took in the room and didn't say anything for a minute.

"Wow..." He finally said quietly. I smacked his side.
