The next morning, Jackson, Brandon, and Elliot approached me as I was munching on my breakfast. "Hey guys!" I chirped. "What's up?"

"Well..." Jackson hedged. "We've been waiting for that rain check to see spider man, and we're seeing it tonight. We wanted to know if you might be able to come?"

I hurriedly glanced over at the boys table and grimaced. All the boys attention had turned to Jackson and me. Flynn had the most intense gaze of them all. It felt like he was shooting laser beams right through me. I knew he was upset at me for even talking to them, especially after what happened the other night.

I turned to the girls, desperate for their opinions. Paisley gave me an unsure smile and Briar shrugged. I was about to respond that I'd love to go if l could when Damon came marching over to our table.

"Ladies," he nodded toward Briar and Paisley. "What seems to be going on over here?" He asked Jackson.

"We just wanted to see if Iris was available to watch a movie with us tonight." Jackson answered smoothly.

"Three boys and one girl? I don't like the sound of that." Damon made a 'tsk-ing' noise and shook his head. "Gotta take care of the little ones out here. Sometimes, they don't have a good sense of judgment." Damon hissed the last part specifically toward me.

"Well what about you? Five boys and one girl? I knew you all were pigs but--" Damon took one step closer to Jackson, closing the distance. He stood a few inches taller than him and glared menacingly down at him.

"Well whatever you've heard about us is wrong. I'd watch it if I were you. Five against three? I like those odds." He smirked smugly, taking a step back and slinging an arm around my shoulder. "What do you want to do, Iris?" I shot the boys a fleeting look and turned confidently back to Jackson.

"I want to see spider man tonight." I replied confidently. Damon tensed, but he played it cool.

"Well what if we need your assistance tonight? What if a certain Flynn needs your assistance tonight?" Damon asked, wiggling his eyebrows. I smacked him on his side and he winced. "That wasn't very nice, princess." I stuck my tongue out at him in response.

"I can take care of you." Paisley offered meekly.

"Sweetheart, I know you can take care of me." Damon winked down at her, flashing her a dazzling smile. While he was preoccupied with Paisley, I released myself from his firm grasp.

"Then it's settled." I clapped my hands. "What time do you want to start?"

"Seven." Elliot responded. I smiled.

"Great, I'll see you all at seven."

"Why did you say yes to him?!" Flynn demanded while the boys and I were lounging by the pool. They wanted to have a do nothing day and I was more than happy to assist them with that. I was currently sitting on a lounge chair when a soaking wet Flynn stood over me, arms crossed. I knew he was upset this morning, but to still be upset now?

"Because I really like spider man." I replied casually.

"Are you sure you aren't doing this to spite me? Have I done something?" Flynn asked.

"No of course not. But I'm entitled to go out and do things with whomever I please. It's not like we're dating anyway." Okay maybe I did add the last part out of spite. A little. Flynn sighed and sat down on the lounge chair next to mine.

"Is that what this is all about? If you wanted us to be official, you could've just asked me." I groaned.

"That's not how it works. I'm sorry, Flynn, but I'm old fashioned like that. Until we're officially together, I can go out with whoever I want." I snapped. This time, Flynn groaned. He took one of my hands in his and looked deep into my eyes.
