Erza's POV:Green blurs rushed past me as I looked outside the window. There were small, dainty houses here and there, scattered around. The train was going through the outskirts of Magnolia.
'I will be reaching there any time now.' I stood up reaching for my bags and pulled them down, beside me. The train slowed down as the station loomed closer.
The train came to a stop with a lurch and I got up. I dragged my luggage down with me to the platform and out of the station.
Once outside, I asked a passerby the address I was going to be staying at. The girl kindly showed me the way and in no time I was standing in front of a big house.
The house had a chestnut brown colour and the roofs were a dark blue. It had many windows and looked like it could accommodate a large number if people inside. I went inside the house and a musty smell filled my nose. I went further inside to find a clean spot to drop my luggage.
Having found no such place in the length if the room, I dropped it on the dust covered floor and went ahead into a corridor to check the rooms. The furniture inside the rooms was covered with white sheets. On removing them I, thankfully, found no dust on the furniture. I opened the windows of the room and came out into the living room to pick up my bag.
The first task was to clean the living room and a bedroom, so that I could sleep peacefully on a bed and not the sofa. Then I checked on the bathroom. The taps were working, but they had rusted over time and I needed to use more strength to open them. The electricity and water supply were working properly, thanks to Hynhe and Juliet. I retired to the comfy bed after having something to fill my stomach and was out like a light.
Morning
Erza's POV:
Sunlight poked into my eyes and I woke up lazily, squinting my eyes as they adjusted to the light. I stood up and the blanket slid off me onto the floor.
Not bothering to pick it up, I groggily walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and went to have a bath. I turned the shower on and freezing cold water fell on me making me jump, all sleep forgotten. "Arrgh!!" I cried.
Having no other choice, I bathed in cold water and got dressed up. I went into the living room and opened all the windows. Cool breeze came in along with the sunlight. I looked at my watch. '9:30 am... I should go have some breakfast..'
I took a look in the mirror. 'White top, blue jeans..fine.' I made sure to close all windows and left the house. I fished out my phone from my jeans as I walked down the street searching for a cafe.
I dialed Hynhe's number and listened to the call ring. After a few rings the call was picked up.
"Hello, Erza."
"Good morning, Hynhe."
"Good morning. You need anything?"
"Yeah, actually... Could you send me a map of the city? It would be very helpful."
"Okay... Are you fine?"
"Yes...I am just trying to find a cafe here, right now. I will call you back tonight."
"Okay then. Take care."
"Bye."
"Bye."
I stopped walking to look around at the shops around me. I saw a small cafe around the corner. The cafe was small, but cute. I went inside and got seated at a table near the window.
The walls of the cafe were white and had baby pink coloured, different sized and patterned bubbles. A waitress came over and handed me a menu card.
