Watching the Sunset (F.JessexLukas) 😣 *Short*

Jess's PoV
(I role play a lot and now I'm so used to calling her Jess, don't mind me) (I'm sorry this is so short... I need more ideas. Anyone?)

Lukas and Jess sat on the grass, looking at the sunset. "I cant believe you brought me all the way out here just to see the sun set. It's getting late..." Jess yawned, rubbing her tired eyes.

Lukas smiled over at his best friend and gently pulled away her hands. "You shouldn't rub your eyes like that.." he said softly. Jess liked that about Lukas. He was always so soft and gentle. The perfect guy who should take care of you. "Well... it was nice spending time with you anyway." she looked down at the picnic basket they had.

"I didn't expect you to bring cakes," she noted, looking at the huge mountain of pancakes. "I thought you said pancakes, not actual cakes." Lukas replied with a laugh.

"You should check your hearing." Jess said with a smug smile. "Nah, you should learn how to speak louder.."

Jess looked over at the horizon, where the sun was just starting to set. "... It is kinda peaceful up here anyway." she relaxed against Lukas's shoulder. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and sighed, enjoying the view.

"Lukas?"

"Mmhmm?" he replied, his blue eyes still fixed on the horizon. Jess pulled out her earpieces and handed one side to Lukas. He looked down at it, and back at her, as if he didn't know what to do with it. "Silly boy.." Jess laughed softly, helping him fit it into his ear.

She pressed play on her phone and felt Lukas sigh. He loved music... that was one thing she knew about him. She's had a crush on Lukas for the longest time, but she knew his parents wouldn't want them to be together, so they secretly met every now and then. They do say distance makes the heart grow fonder and all...

Now Jess had to hope Lukas liked her back. Which he did... in some ways. Like when he offered to bring her out or talked to her every single day. He wasn't too clingy like most boys. He was just... perfect. That's what Jess liked about him.

Jess looked down at their shoes, where were barely touching. The only movement from him was the slight tapping of his foot as he listened to the drums in the song they were listening to...

Jess smiled and started to close her eyes, feeling extremely tired. Lukas shifted so that she could rest on his shoulder easily. With that, Jess sighed and closed her eyes.
