(No One's PoV)

"NO!" Olivia screamed as she watched Lukas throw Jesse down. Axel pulled her back as Lukas stood at the edge, a small smile on his face and holding a bloody diamond sword... Jesse's sword. Lukas threw the sword down onto the ground, where Jesse once was.

"LUKAS- HOW COULD YOU?" Olivia cried as he turned, fixing his red eyes on her and Axel, who gasped. "You're not-."

"The Lukas you know is gone." Lukas said, a robotic voice replacing the memory of Lukas's. "You can call me PAMA, and now it's time for me to punish you for destroying my source of power."

Olivia and Axel stepped back, terrified. "No... Lukas, you-."

"ENOUGH!" Lukas yelled, his eyes glowing with red light. "Both of you deserve to be chipped for your crimes." Axel and Olivia stepped back but Lukas was faster, he drew his sword and knocked them over. His strength had improved so much... "Lukas-! Please don't!" Olivia cried.

"I told you, I'm. NOT. LUKAS!" PAMA yelled and activated a chip with a click of a button. She gasped and closed her eyes as she felt a sharp pain at the back of her head as everything went dark.

(Two years later)

Everything was barren and dusty, with harsh red light everywhere... no one was around in Beacontown anymore. No one out on the streets since.. everyone was too afraid to go outside, slowly starving and with fights breaking out every so often. Those who left Beacontown... were executed.

Those who resisted or showed bravery, were chipped. Everyone knew about PAMA, since it was their leader after all. And everyday, the towns people were forced to choose amongst themselves a person to be made 'useful'. That resulted in many fights, which PAMA watched gleefully.

No one dared to step up to face the computer, fearful of its reign of terror and mercilessness. Especially since it was inhabiting Lukas's body, a person the townspeople had looked up to. So naturally, they would all be afraid to talk to PAMA/Lukas.

Which brings us to the question... who would save them?

(Two years earlier)

"Wake up! Come on, Jesse, wake up!" a familiar voice echoed in Jesse's mind. He groaned, making the blurry figures in front of him move aside, for him to see the light again. He blinked again, suddenly remembering that his eye was injured... no wonder he couldn't see out of it.

"He's beaten up pretty badly. It's a good thing we were nearby." A female voice said worriedly. "Why are we helping him? We should go back to the house." a voice retorted, and there was a loud smack, as if someone had slapped the person rather hard.

"Because we're good people, duh." the first person said. "Where.." Jesse murmured, trying to sit up. "Whoa whoa whoa, Jesse, don't try." the voice said, as Jesse blinked again, to see the three figures form into faces he remembered so long ago.

"Aiden.?" he muttered, squinting at the other guy. Aiden nodded. "At least you didn't mess up your brain. You landed pretty hard in the water-."

"You land into the water, not on top of it..." Jesse murmured, making the other three look at each other. "Uh- whatever it is," Gill cleared his throat. "What's with the red light everywhere? It's too early to be sunset."

A girl, who Jesse remembered as Maya, just shook her head. "Stop being an idiot, Gill. There has to be a reasonable answer, right?" she looked at Jesse, who held his head with one hand. "What... happened?" he asked.

Aiden looked at Jesse, who was a little surprised to see that Aiden had a pair of thin metal glasses, made from iron and fragile glass. He wondered how he got them... and it made him look extremely studious.

"You fell from up there." Aiden pointed to the sky, where he saw the edge of a cliff. Jesse looked at the rush of water, "I landed in the water?" he asked.

Aiden rolled his eyes. "Duh. Now, what's going on? And why do you only have one eye?"

Jesse held his head in his hands, closing his eye and remembering Lukas... "PAMA... it's back." he looked at the other three and realised that they didn't know what PAMA was.

"What's a palm-a?" Gill asked, making Maya smack his arm. "I think Jesse's saying a acronym for something." Aiden said, making Jesse nod. "I'll explain." he sighed.

"So... an evil computer wants to chip everyone." Aiden said after Jesse explained a long story. "Pretty much." Jesse said, sighing.

"Why didn't you say so?" Gill said, "I think Aiden's explanation was much better than yours." Another slap from Maya.

Jesse rubbed his head. "Whatever it is, I need to go back. I need to stop PAMA." he stood up, and immediately winced, making the other three grab him by the arm to steady him. "You're too injured." Maya said sternly.

"We think you broke your leg, and your arm got stabbed by the looks of it... and you really need to get that eye patched up, it's scaring me." Gill piped up honestly. "Boss, what do we do?" he turned to Aiden, who was looking at the street, nearby.

"I think we should-."

A loud explosion made everyone flinch. Jesse suddenly looked up into the sky, as a beam of brilliant white and red light shot into the sky, and it looked as if it was covering the entire town. "It's caging us in!" Maya gasped. "Then come on!" Gill shouted, starting to run towards the gates of the town.

Aiden picked Jesse up, surprising him. "Don't worry, I do this all the time with my friends when they get injured." he reassured him, and started to run for the gates.

"Almost there!" Gill and Maya called, as they helped Aiden and Jesse along. They were so close to the gates... but suddenly, Aiden gasped and tripped, spilling Jesse onto the hard bricked tiles. "Ow.. a little warning next time?" Jesse picked himself up, with the help of Gill.

"Aiden!" Maya gasped as an arrow shot towards them. Jesse turned to see someone walking towards them, "JESSE!" PAMA roared furiously.

The arrow shot in front of Aiden, making him leap back with shock as a cave spider spawned from it, scuttling towards him. "What the-?!" he gasped as the spider tried to bite at him, making him swat it away. Despite Jesse's injured leg and arm, he grabbed the iron sword hanging from Gill's belt and swung it at the spider, making it explode into smoke.

Jesse quickly pulled Aiden up, "Thanks-." the lime eyed boy said with a weak smile, "Come on guys!" Maya yelled, pulling them through the gates, and onto the other side just as the red border closed, sealing them out of Beacontown, with Lukas on the other side.

"You can run, but you can't hide Jesse." PAMA said through the barrier, as the four of them stepped back, out of breath from their run.

"I'll be back PAMA..." Jesse growled, "And you'll pay for what you did." he smashed his left fist against the barrier, making Lukas step back with shock but he recovered with a smug smile. "Oh, I'll wait, Jesse. You'll never defeat me."

Ignoring PAMA, Jesse, Aiden, Maya and Gill turned away from Beacontown... leaving the town to it's new ruler.
