"Oops!" She apologized, "Sorry!"

"It's fine," he smiled, "Where are you off to?"

"To get everyone's gifts!" She exclaimed proudly.

"Can I walk with you?"

"Sure thing!"

They waltzed down the corridor.

"So, did Miss Moore get a gift for me?" Fabian asked, nosily.

Logan winced at the usage of her last name.

"Why do you do that?"

"Do what?" She played dumb.

"Every time I say, "Moore"- there! That!"

Logan sighed.

"Promise not to tell anyone?"

"What about Gideon?"

"Fine, But no one else."

"Agreed."

"I- I don't like my last name..."

"Continue."

"I lost my family... at a young age."

"I'm so sorry Logan, I-"

"Don't say you understand, because you don't!" She protested, "You have your brother. You have your sister. You have a mum and dad, and your Uncle Grayson!"

"And Uncle Farley."

"What?"

"Sorry, it was a joke... not a very good one... I mean, I do have an uncle Farley, but- never mind. And I wasn't going to say I understand. Logan. I can never even pretend to understand what you've been through. It's like you're stuck in a dark tunnel. I can't help you through it, but I can be there with a lantern at the end. Does... does that make sense?" He asked worriedly.

"Makes perfect sense." She smiled.

She looked down at her feet.

"Can I- can I hold your hand?" Logan asked.

"You don't have to ask."

He took her hand in his.

"Now, here we are." He said as he turned the corner to the hallway that the Hufflepuff Common Room was in.

"Turn around." Logan told him.

"What? Why? You know he password to the Gryffindor Common Room, why can't I-"

"Because I said so."

"Oh, fine." Fabian sighed, "If you weren't so cute-"

"Cute? Is that all you think I am?"

"No! You're smart and funny and kind and brave and loyal and-"

"Fabian, I was just kidding."

"Oh."
