Logan absolutely adored babysitting the twins.  Logan just so happened to be holding her goddaughter while Remus held Harry when Lily and James came through the front door to their apartment where Logan and Remus were babysitting.

"What's wrong?" Logan asked immediately, seeing their distraught faces.

Lily didn't answer right away, walking up to Remus who was closest and taking Harry from him. She held Harry close to her and started crying before trying to grab Ivy from Logan at the same time.

"James?" Remus questioned.

"The meeting with Dumbledore was about the twins." James said.

Lily made an attempt at wiping away her tears.

"What did Dumbledore say?" Logan asked.

"Let's put them down for a nap," Lily suggested, avoiding the question.

She carried Ivy to her shared bedroom and James took Harry. Logan and Remus exchanged worried glances. When Lily and James came back down, they sat down on the couch. Lily opened her mouth and then closed it again, lost for words.

"It's about Voldemort." James broke the news.

Lily choked back a sob and James, tears falling down his face, rubbed her back gently.

"Dumbledore said that there's a prophecy about Voldemort and the twins. One that says they will defeat Voldemort, and..." James began, voice trailing off at the end.

"He knows." Lily cried, "He knows about it, and he's going to come after my babies."

"They're only children!" Logan exclaimed, outraged.

"Voldemort doesn't care." James said.

"Merlin, I'm so sorry." Remus said, getting misty eyed.

"We'll protect them." Logan said.

"I know." Lily said, "And of course, we won't let him get anywhere near Harry and Ivy, but..."

The end of the sentence hung in the air. What Voldemort wanted, he got. Logan shook her head.

"He's not getting them." She said, "He's not getting either one."

Lily's body shook with her sobs.

"There has to be something Dumbledore can do." Logan protested, failing to fight back tears.

"There is." James said, "A spell that would protect us. It'd be placed over our house and we'd have a secret keeper. Only they would know our location and be able to visit us."

"I'll do it." Logan said, immediately.

"No, I will." Remus said.

"It's really dangerous." Lily informed them, "I wouldn't want either of you to risk your lives. I don't want anyone to."
