Chapter 67: Oh My Merlin

Lily came rushing into the room, James not far behind her.

"Guys!" Enna exclaimed, catching the other's attention, "Look."

Lily wore a huge grin and a beautiful new ring on her finger.

"I said yes!" She exclaimed.

"SHE SAID YES!" James yelled.

Lily laughed.

"Shh James, It's after hours." Lily said, but she didn't stop smiling.

"I love you Lily Flower." James said, turning to his new fiancé.

"I love you too." She replied, staring dreamily into his eyes.

"This calls for a toast." Sirius said, pulling a bottle of firewhiskey out of nowhere.

"Sirius! Did you have that the whole time?!" Logan scolded.

"No, I just found it on the table. It just appeared." He said.

"Well, we really shouldn't be drink- oh, alright." Lily said, "Just this once."

They filled up the plastic cups left over from the party.

"To James and Lily." Sirius toasted.

"To James and Lily!" They echoed, sipping their drinks.

Enna gagged.

"Oh gosh, that's awful!" She exclaimed.

Lily scrunched up her nose after sipping her drink. Maya shrugged.

"Eh, not bad." She said.

They laughed. They then shared stories of the newly engaged couple until they all fell asleep.

"Happy Christmas!" Lily exclaimed the next morning.

She and James were already decked out in their festive outfits.

"What time is it?" Sirius groaned.

"Time for you to get off your bum and celebrate!" Maya said, throwing a pillow at him.

With a heavy sigh, he reluctantly left his bundle of blankets.

"Gifts?" Lily asked them excitedly.

They passed out their gifts for each other.

"Oh Logan!" Enna gasped when she saw the matching bracelets.

"Thank you so much!" Lily squealed.

"I love it!" Maya agreed.

"What- no! It couldn't be!" Sirius cried out, ripping the package with his leather jacket inside open.

"Do you like it?" Logan asked.

"Like it? I bloody love it!" He yelled, embracing her and the boys in a group hug.
