The end of the year was approaching rather too quickly for Logan's liking. It seemed like she blinked her eyes and the next thing she knew, she was in the middle of an end of the year exam, ignoring Sirius' paper crane flying around her head.

Hogwarts was different than ever before. Logan knew it was changing, but she didn't know just how much until the deaths of Fabian, Gideon and Enna. Everyone seemed solemn and on edge. She had to drag James and Sirius away from three duels a week and soothe Remus every time he panicked over an exam, which was frequent.

"No, but you don't understand Logan." Remus protested as she attempted to get him to stop studying and head to bed one night, "If I want to be a Professor one day, I've got to pass the exam!"

"You are going to pass, Mooney!" Logan sighed, "You're the smartest in our year, now please go to bed, it's nearly midnight."

"But I-"

"No but's! You can't pass your exams if you sleep through them!"

With a sigh, Remus reluctantly packed up his books and followed Logan to the Room of Requirement where the Marauders has been camping out the past few months.

"Hey." Peter greeted them as they entered the room.

Surprisingly, he was the only one awake.

"Hey Wormy." Logan whispered, as to not wake the other two sleeping boys.

"What are you doing still up?" Remus asked him.

"Couldn't sleep." Peter replied, looking away quickly so that they missed the guilty look on his face.

"Do you need anything?" Logan asked him as Remus collapsed onto his own bed.

"Nah, I'm fine." Peter waved.

"Okay, if you sure..." Logan said, making her way over to her bed and pulling back the covers to climb in.

Remus, the poor boy, had already fallen asleep by the time Logan turned off the lights.

"Hey Birdie?" Peter called over to her quietly.

"Yeah?"

"If you did the wrong thing trying to do the right thing, is it still wrong?" He asked.

"Well, I suppose that depends on what you did."

"Um, I forgot to, well, study for the exam."

"Oh Peter." Logan sighed.

"I know, I know." Peter frowned.

"I'll help you study last minute tomorrow if you'd like?" Logan offered.

"You're a life saver, Lo."

"No problem."

"Goodnight."
