As they walked out of the hospital wing, Maya turned to Logan.
"So I guess that you don't always know what's going on in a person's mind." She said.
"...yeah..."
"So sometimes someone likes you and you like them, but if you never say anything, you never know." Maya continued.
Logan shot her a warning glare.
"Ooh, does little Lo have a crush?" Sirius asked.
"No!" Logan said.
"Maybe." Maya said at the same time.
Logan glared at her even harder.
"No, I don't." She said firmly.
"Just a question." Sirius laughed, holding up his hands.
Logan looked away, missing how Remus looked utterly heartbroken. Sirius and James, however, didn't.
"You know Logan, sometimes the perfect person for you is closer than you think." James said cryptically.
"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked.
"I dunno." He said, "I just read that quote somewhere."
Then he winked at her when Remus wasn't paying attention.
"Huh?" Logan asked, utterly confused.
"Nothing!" Sirius said before winking at her as well.
She blinked. Did they think she liked one of them? Did they think she liked Sirius?! Merlin, did he like her? She didn't think he did...
"Well, I'm going to bed now, goodnight!" Logan said quickly, before grabbing Enna and pulling her down the hallway towards the Hufflepuff Common Room.
"Oh my Merlin." Logan whispered the confused blonde.
"What?" Enna whispered back.
Logan waited until they rounded the corner and were out of earshot before responding.
"Did you see that?" She asked.
"James and Sirius being weird?" Enna asked, "Yeah, I did."
"You don't think that Sirius... likes me, do you?" Logan asked, "Because I really don't want to have to tell him that I only see him as a friend!"
Enna shook her head.
"Relax, Logan." She said, "I think they were talking about Remus anyways."
"Remus?" Logan asked, "But why? They don't know I like him... unless... Enna, did you tell?!"
"No!" Enna exclaimed.
"Are you sure?!" Logan asked.
"No Logan, I think I might've told Remus that you fancy him before spontaneously forgetting about it." Enna said sarcastically.
