The flight to America couldn't have been more than a hour. Logan suspected that magic had a role in this. On the way, Newt reminisced his past adventures both in Europe and America.

"You know, Tina and I actually moved to England together- that's where I'm from." Newt explained.

"What made you move back to America?" Logan questioned.

"Ah, I missed it, I simply missed it, Logan."

Logan smiled and looked out the window.

"What's it like, America?"

"Well, you'll just have to wait and see for yourself. I have a feeling you'll enjoy New York."

She nodded her head. The carriage slowly began to descend. Logan looked out the window to see the landscape of a city laid out before them.

"Umm, Newt? Aren't we supposed to be in some rural place with no people or anything? 'Cause that's not a nice little countryside out there..." Logan said.

"Well, I had to make a stop first." Newt replied with a twinkling smile.

"Newt, I can't be in a city, I-I almost just killed someone!"

"Relax darling, you're scaring Dusk." Newt said.

Logan then noticed that the carriage was shaking.

"Sorry." She apologized.

She took a few deep breaths and closed her eyes. When she opened them again, they had landed safely and her powers were once more, for the time being, under control.

"Newt, I really don't think his is a good idea-"

"Tell me Logan, what is it you're so afraid of right now?"

"I'm afraid I'm going to bloody murder someone!"

"Exactly!" Newt said.

Logan tilted her head in confusion.

"Fear is your worst enemy. Fear is the darknesses, we need to find the light." Newt explained.

"But what if I can't?"

"But what if you can?"

"...fine."

Newt chuckled.

"You're a real bother sometimes, you know that?" Logan asked with a small smile on her face.

"Indeed it seems so." Newt replied, "Welp, here we go!"

They walked through the crowds of Boston, Logan trailing closely behind Newt. A man bumped into her, nearly sending her sprawling onto the ground.

"Hey, I'm walk'in here!" He yelled over the noise of the city.

"But-"

The man had already turned and hustled away. Logan stared after him for a second before snapping back to reality and hurrying after Newt once more.
