Chapter 41: Detention Again-tion

"I'm putting down an "A" to make the word "A"." Sirius said, placing the chip on the board.

"He can't do that!" James complained, "...can he?"

Logan nodded before scanning her letters to make a word.

"Hmm... I will add to your "A" to make the word "at"." She said.

Peter looked down at his letters and grinned.

"I will add to your "at" to make the word "rat". He grinned.

They all laughed along with him.

"Alright, Mooney, it's your turn." James said.

"I think I'm gonna win." Sirius said.

Logan shook her head with a smile as Remus scanned his letters.

"Okay..." He said, "I will add to your "rat" to make the word... biostratagraphy."

They all watched as Remus put down the letters. Sirius blinked.

"THAT'S NOT A WORD!" He cried out.

"Yes, it is." Remus replied calmly.

Sirius looked around the room, waiting for someone to call him out on it, but no one did. He turned away and crossed his arms.

"I don't wanna play anymore." He pouted.

"Oh, come on, Sirius, it's your turn." Remus prompted.

"I don't wanna!"

Remus exchanged glances with Logan. She rolled her eyes at Sirius.

"How about we play another game now?" James suggested.

"NO!" Sirius exclaimed, "...what kind of game?"

"It's called... tag, you're it!"

The other four Marauders scrambled away from Sirius, running out the door of the Room of Requirement.

"Come on!" James urged Peter who was beginning to fall behind.

"Why do you care if he gets caught?" Remus asked as they ran.

"...good point, Peter, slow down!" James yelled.

"Hey!" Peter protested as they rounded a corner.

Unfortunately for them, they ran straight into McGonagall. They stopped running and looked at the Professor with wide eyes.

"Why were you running in the school halls?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Um...because..." Logan stammered.

"Because Sirius is "it"?" James offered.

"It?" McGonagall questioned with a look of disapproval.
