"In a rush?" Logan confronted.

Sirius spun around, looking alarmed. He relaxed when he saw it was Logan.

"Birdie-"

"Don't." Logan interrupted, "Don't you "Birdie" me! You were late, and now you're leaving?"

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to be that late, I-"

"But you did mean to be late?" She asked.

"Logan." Sirius pleaded.

"I just can't believe that you of all people- Sirius Bloody Black, couldn't even be bother to show up to his best friends wedding on time."

"I'm sorry." He said.

Logan frowned.

"If you were sorry, you wouldn't have done it." She turned to leave.

"Lo-"

"BLACK!" A voice yelled.

Logan looked over to see Maya marching up to him.

"What in Godric's name were you thinking?!" Maya demanded.

"I'm sorry I didn't ask you go the wedding-"

"You think that's what this is about?!" She laughed darkly, "No. This is about what you did to Remus and Logan!"

"I apologized-" He began, but that only increased the fury in Maya's eyes.

"You are ARROGANT and a JERK!" She yelled, "I hope you're bloody happy now that your two BEST FRIENDS spent their wedding day worried for your safety when you just couldn't be bothered to show up on time!"

"Maya, I'm really sorry." Sirius begged.

She was silent for a moment. Deadly silent.

"I never want to see your face again, Black." Maya said quieter.

"Please."

"Go." Maya said.

"Maya-"

"GO!" She yelled, drawing her wand and pushing him backwards.

He stumbled and fell to the floor. By now, everyone was watching what was happening. Sirius got up and took one last pleading look at Maya before turning around and leaving. Maya squeezed her eyes shut.

Logan approached Maya as she let her wand arm drop back down to her side. She was crying, so Logan pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry for creating a scene." Maya apologized.

Logan only hugged her tighter.

"I'm sorry he was being such a bloody jerk." She whispered.

"I thought I was wrong." Maya replied, "I thought maybe he was different."
