"Nichole, where's Nellie?!" Logan asked the niffler, who of course, didn't respond.

She noticed a baby niffler trying to sneak away with her sparrow necklace.

"Hey!" She cried, "Come back here, Noah!"

Noah, being the stinker that he is, ran faster. Logan groaned before starting the chase. It lasted quite a while longer than it would have if she was permitted to use magic, but eventually she got the necklace back.

"Now, where's you sister?" Logan wondered aloud.

"Logan?" Newt called from the other room.

She grinned and carried Noah over.

"Found this one trying to make off with my pocket watch." Newt smiled, lifting up the other baby niffler.

"Nellie." Logan sighed, but the niffler just gave her an innocent look until she laughed.

"They really love you, Logan." Newt commented as she picked up Nellie.

"Not as much as they love you." Logan countered, placing the niffler a back where they belonged.

"Well, I'd say you're definitely giving me a run for my money." He replied.

She grinned and sat down across from him.

"So, have you packed your things?" New asked.

"Yes."

"Your sketchbook and pencils?"

"Check."

"Your toothbrush?"

"Check."

"And you've finished your summer work?"

"Check."

"And-"

"Newt!" Logan groaned, "I've done it all, can we please leave now?"

"Hold your horses there, sport." Newt said, "I just want to make sure you are prepared."

"I know." She gave him a smile, "Thank you."

"Now, one last thing." Newt announced.

"Newt, I said no more random gifts!" Logan protested.

"Oh, I hardly think he counts!" Newt said, reaching into his pocket and dragging out Pickett.

"Hi Pickett." Logan greeted.

He waved.

"I want him to accompany you, just in case." Newt said.

"In case what?" Logan asked.

"These are dark times, Logan." He spoke softly, "It would put my mind at ease."

"Well, Okay." She agreed, holding out her hand for Pickett to hop onto.

He did so and then Logan stood up and grabbed her trunk with her other hand. Newt followed her over to the fireplace and hugged her before she stepped inside.
