"Lily?"

"Logan! What's going on?! The boys won't tell me anything and I-"

"Lily... I have something to tell you."

Lily cocked her head to the side.

"What?"

"I'm... oh man, this is harder than I thought it would be... okay, I've been keeping a secret from you."

"Why would you do that?" Lily asked, offended.

"I'm really sorry. I guess I did it because I was afraid of what you would think of me."

"Well... what kind of secrets?"

"I'm an obscurial." Logan blurted out.

Lily stared at her.

"Sorry."

"Logan, what- no, why- wait... um..."

"Please don't be mad."

"First of all, Logan, I don't understand you! Why would you hide something like that from your best friends?!"

"Well, it's not exactly something you shout from the rooftops-"

"Logan! Are you even listening to me? We promised to tell the truth to each other... you broke that promise."

"Lily, I'm really sorry."

"... I need some space." Lily decided.

Logan nodded and turned around, leaving the red haired girl to think alone. She was on her way to Potions when the Marauders found her.

"Logan! Lo, wait up!" Sirius called.

She stopped walking and turned around. James shifted uncomfortably.

"Can we talk somewhere... private?" He asked her.

She nodded. They walked over to an empty classroom and Peter closed the door behind them.

"Logan, I am truly sorry for what I said yesterday." James apologized.

She fiddled with her necklace.

"Logan, we know that you're an obscurial." Sirius said, "James told us and we put two and two together."

Logan nodded, still not meeting their eyes.

"Blimey Logan, say something."

"Something." She said.

James and Sirius grinned, moving forward to hug her, but she stopped them.

"I- that's not all though." Logan said.

"What'd you mean?" Peter spoke up.

"Enna told you all that I lived in an orphanage and the head was sick. Well, the head wasn't sick, but I do... I live in an orphanage."
