To say that Remus was surprised to hear of Logan and Fabian's new relationship status was a bit of an understatement. Then again, the reason why he looked so shocked could have been because Sirius and James ran up to him, yelling it in his ear.
"Boys!" A nearby waiter complained, "If you wish to shout, you may leave the facility!"
"Sorry Marty." They apologized.
"What did you-when-how-" Remus stuttered.
"We broke up this afternoon." Logan explained, "It was a mutual decision."
"You mutually decided to break up?"
"...yeah... that's not weird... is it?" Logan asked.
"Nope...not weird at all." Remus said.
There was an awkward silence at the table.
"We can talk about something else, if you'd like?" Logan proposed.
"Thank Merlin!" Peter exclaimed, before they turned to look at him, "I-I mean- how about this weather, right?"
He had the decency to look embarrassed.
"So, we got you that magnet." Sirius said, taking the magnetic board out of the bag he was carrying it in.
"Thanks." Remus replied, accepting the board.
He took the magnet off the table and stuck it on the magnetic board. James looked back at the table Lily and Maya had been sitting at and frowned.
"They left." He observed.
"It's alright mate," Sirius said, "She'll fall for you one day... although maybe not if you keep stalking her."
"I told you before, I'm not stalking her!" James complained.
"Whatever you say, Prongs."
James frowned but sat back down.
"You guys always pick on me." He whined, "...at least Marty like me."
"I wouldn't count on it." Marty said with a smirk as he passed the table.
"Hey!" James protested.
"Relax James, he was just joking." Logan explained.
James shook his head. The five Marauders finished paying for the butterbeers and headed back up the path to Hogwarts. Once they reached the school, they went their separate ways. Logan was heading back to the Hufflepuff Common Room when she heard an out of place noise. It was the faint sound of a girl crying. Logan followed the noise to the girl's bathroom.
"Erm- hello?" She called into the room as she entered.
Moaning Myrtle floated up from out of one of the stalls.
