The two girls walked down to the dungeons where the Slytherin Common Room was.

"It's f-freezing down h-here!" Lily shivered.

"Why don't you go upstairs and grab a jumper? I'll stay here to meet Severus." Logan offered.

"You're a lifesaver, Lo." Lily smiled before heading back up the stairway.

Logan pulled her own jumper closer around her.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" A voice asked.

She turned to see a Slytherin boy looking at her.

"Um, hi?"

"Is the little badger lost?" He cooed.

"What? No, I'm-"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I don't care." He interrupted.

Logan's demeanor dropped and she held her guard up.

"That's rude." She commented.

"Really?" He asked, stepping closer, "Funny how I don't care!"

"Back off." She said, firmly.

He advanced until she could feel his breath on her face.

"What if I don't want to?"

Logan reaches for her wand, but he grabbed her wrist.

"What's the little Hufflepuff gonna do now?" He asked.

She winced as his grip tightened. Logan kneed him in the gut and he groaned, dropping her wand. She picked it up and pointed it at him.

"Don't freaking mess with a badger."

"Why you-"

"Rosier." A voice snapped.

The boy, Evan Rosier, froze.

"What do you want, Snape?" He asked.

"For you to leave my friend alone." Severus replied.

"She's your friend?"

"Yeah, got a problem with that?"

"Friends with Mudbloods and orphans, great." Evan sighed.

"Don't call Lily that!" Logan protested.

"Why? What're you gonna do about it?"

Logan raised her wand once more but Severus came up next to her and lowered her arm.

"Drop it, Logan." He said.

She lowered her wand and turned around.

"Filth." Evan called after her, "Not to mention that freak you hang out wi-"

"Excuse me?!" She interrupted, whirling back around.

"Yeah." He smirked, "What's her name? That Mudblood, Emma, is it?"
