Logan's panic attacks occurred several times since the incident in Professor McGonagall's class, but she never reached the point of loosing control again. Remus may have had something to do with that. With help from Dumbledore, the minds of the students in the classroom the day she turned into the obscurus were erased. Unfortunately, a week or two after the obliviation, Dumbledore called her down to his office.
To say Logan had been avoiding him since the deaths of her three friends would be accurate. She didn't want to talk to the man that sent them on the mission in the first place.
By some crazy twist of fate, it was Ursula that Dumbledore asked to carry the message to Logan.
"Hi Logan." Ursula spoke up.
Logan turned around to see the younger girl.
"Oh." She said, unsure of how to address her after their last encounter.
"Professor Dumbledore wants you to come to his office. I don't think you're in trouble or anything." Ursula said.
"Okay. Thank you." Logan replied before bidding her friends farewell and starting to walk down the hallway.
Much to her surprise, Ursula followed her.
"I- I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry." The Ravenclaw said quietly, "About your friends."
Logan nodded. Ursula paused.
"...and I wanted to let you know that I know it wasn't your fault...some kids... they've been saying awful things and... well, I just wanted to let you know that I didn't think they were true." She said.
"So you're not... scared of me?" Logan asked.
"No."
"Not even when you saw me in the hallway that day...?"
"I was scared for you, but not of you."
"Thanks Ursula." Logan said.
Ursula nodded.
"Well, good luck with the headmaster." She said before walking away.
Logan climbed up the stairs to Dumbledore's office alone after that. When she reached the top, the door opened on its own accord.
"Ah, Miss Logan." Dumbledore greeted, "Come in, have a seat."
She did as he requested, refusing to make eye contact with him.
"I suppose you blame me." Dumber began, surprising her, "I understand."
"I- I don't know, sir." Logan admitted, "If I blame you still."
"Well, it was my fault." He continued, "You gave me a warning that I chose to ignore. That is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life."
He paused before leaning in closer.
"I risked the lives of my students, Logan. And for what? To save myself the trouble of looking into a tip off?"
