Logan was in History of Magic when it happened. Now of her friends were in the class, besides Claire and Gianna and they sat together leaving her to sit at an empty desk.

"Hey Logan." A Slytherin greeted her, sitting down next to her so she wouldn't have to sit alone.

"Hi." She replied, vaguely recognizing her.

A group of Hufflepuff girls began laughing at something from behind her. Logan turned around in her seat to find them looking at her. Rolling her eyes, she turned back around. Something hit the back of her head. She turned to see a piece of paper on the floor. Another girl flew another paper over to her.

Logan snatched the paper out of the air and faced the front of the classroom again. She knew it was a note, and that she shouldn't read it, but she slowly opened it up anyway.

Nobody wants you here, Death Eater.

She took a deep breath and crumpled up the note, but others noticed. The Slytherin gave her a look of pity and Logan looked away. She didn't want pity.

Another paper hit her head.

"Quit it!" She hissed under her breath, not bothering to turn around.

"Oooh, she's getting maaaaad!" One girl cooed.

"What are you going to do?" Another provoked, "Kill us like you did Emma? It's obvious you're not a true Hufflepuff."

Logan breathes in sharply.

"Ow!" A girl shrieked.

Logan turned around to see Gianna pulling one of the girl's hair while Claire jinked the other with her wand.

"Take that back." Gianna demanded.

The Professor still was droning in about something, not realizing the drama taking place in the back of the room.

"Gia, no." Logan said.

Gianna looked up.

"Enna was our roommate too." She said, "And we may not have been as close to her as you were, but that doesn't mean we're going to sit back and let Carley be a bi-"

"Language!" Claire reprimanded her twin.

The girl next to Carley was crying at the spots that were jinxed onto her face and arms.

"Fine!" Gianna declared, "That doesn't mean we're going to let Carley be a you-know-what to you!"

"Let me go you freak!" Carley shrilled.

Gianna forcefully let go of her hair and pushed her forward.

"Professor!" Carley yelled, finally gaining his attention.

"Hmm, what?" Professor Binns asked, looking up.

"The Cypress freaks assaulted us!"

"You assaulted Logan with your stupid notes first!" Gianna yelled.

"Girls, go to the headmaster if you have a problem." He replied.

Carley and her friend, Dina, stood up and glared at Logan as they left the room.

"Come on." Claire urged Logan to stand up.

Logan shook her head.

"They aren't going to get away with this!" Gianna added, pulling Logan to her feet.

"But I don't even-"

"Come one, Logan!" Claire urged her out of the classroom.

And thus began the race to Dumbledore's office.

"Why are we running again?" Logan panted.

"Cause if they get there first they will lie!" Gianna replied, keeping yo her quickly paced stride.

"Yeah, but-"

"They're running too!" Gianna added.

It was true. The two Hufflepuffs were racing ahead of them. Logan turned a corner and an idea popped into her head. She slowed down.

"Come on!" Claire urged her.

"Wait!" Logan exclaimed, stopping.

The twins turned.

"I know a quicker way." Logan whispered.

Their eyes widened. Logan showed them the way to one of Hogwarts many secret passageways.

"How did you even know about this?" Claire dares to ask.

"I'm a Marauder." Logan explained, leading the way through the tunnel.

The three reached Dumbledore's office before Carley and Dina. Logan was knocking on the door when the two girls came panting around the corner. The surprised looks on their faces when they saw that the girls had both beaten them and done it without loosing their breaths was priceless.

"What?!" Dina shrieked.

"How-did-you-cheaters-" Carley panted as the door opened and the three girls hurried inside.

"Professor!" Gianna yelled upon seeing the headmaster.

"Whatever she's going to say is a lie!" Carley yelled.

"That's rich, coming from y-" Gianna began.

"Silence, please." Dumbledore said, "One at a time."

Claire opened up her mouth to speak but Dina beat her to it.

"She jinxed me!" She cried, flailing her arms around.

"And she pulled my hair." Carley added, pointing to Gianna.

"Is this true?" Dumbledore asked the three girls.

"Yes, but we only did it because they were being cruel to Logan!" Gianna exclaimed.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, they were tormenting her with notes and- and saying awful things about-... about her and...Enna." Claire said.

Logan was unnaturally pale. She looked down at her shoes.

"Here at Hogwarts, we do not condone fighting whether it be magical or physical-" Dumbledore began.

Carley shot a smug look at them.

"-nor do we accept bullying." He finished, directing the last part to Carey and Dina.

"But sir-" Carley whined.

"You may take Miss Dina to the hospital wing for now, and I expect to see you at detention tomorrow evening." Dumbledore said.

Gina left the room, but Carley stayed behind, glaring at the other girls. Dumbledore cleared his throat and she jumped before scurrying our of the room as well.

"Please attempt to inform a professor the next time such an incident occurs, instead of retaliating." Dumbledore said.

"Yes sir." Claire agreed and her sister nodded.

"You may go." He said.

Logan spun around to leave.

"Oh, and Miss Logan?" He asked.

She froze.

"If you need anything, please let me know." He said, "I will do my best to assist you."

"Thank you Professor, but I don't think I will need anything anytime soon and I am graduating in a few months." She said.

Claire and Gianna has since left the room.

"I think you misunderstand me, Miss Logan." Dumbledore smiled sadly, "If you should ever need anything, even once you've left Hogwarts, let me know."

"...thank you, sir."
