•Shawn's POV•
"That's her." I say as I point to her picture.

"Ashley Alvarez. Alright, give me a few minutes." Brainy says.

I signal Cam to a corner so we could talk and Brainy couldn't hear us.

"Alvarez. Why does that last name sound so familiar?" I ask Cameron.

He shrugs his shoulders and we start thinking.

It sounds so familiar. Like I've heard it before.

"Alright, I found her." Brainy yells out.

We go up to him and look at the screen in front of us.

"According to this, she moved here from Seattle in the beginning of the summer. She was in a lot of fights at her old school. She even got sued. It didn't go through because she got evidence that it was for protection. Out of nowhere, her mom gave her dad all custody rights. Her mother's name is Caroline Torres. She has a brother who's name is Dylan Alvarez. Her father is . . ." He pauses.

"What? What's wrong?" I ask him.

He clears his throat then says, "It's Sergio Alvarez."

I look up at Cameron. Shock all over my face.

Holy shit! She's the daughter of the number one king.

"Guys. Did you know about this?" Brainy asks us.

"We knew she was a king but we didn't know-"

"She was Sergio's daughter." I cut Cameron off.

~the next day~
We rush into the school to find Ashley. This whole 'King's daughter' thing has been on my mind all night. I couldn't believe it. We put our stuff in our lockers and we saw her walking to the lockers on the other side of the hallway. We were about to go talk to her when . . .

"What the hell, Shawn!" Cristina yells, pushing me into the lockers.

"What happened to 'I'm gonna make it to the dinner. Don't worry'?" She asks.

I look around and see everyone staring at us. Even Ashley.

"Babe, I'm so sorry. I totally forgot. I had a lot of things on my mind." I say.

"Really? I don't care! I'm sick of you missing all the important stuff! I'm sick of everything! I'm sick of you!" She yells.

In all honesty, I didn't really want to go. Yes, I did have all that information that I learned about Ashley in my head, but I didn't want to go to the dinner. I just didn't think she would react like this.

"We are over, Shawn! O-V-E-R, OVER!" She yells at me.

Then, she walks away. I look at Ashley and she has a smirk on her face. I grab Cameron and head towards her.

"You enjoy the show?" I ask her.

"Honestly, I really did." She answers with a smile.

Damn that smile. Wait what?

"Let's go out for a little walk, shall we?" Cameron asks as he grabs her arm gently.

We drag her outside until we are out of sight. She pulls her arm away as soon as we stop.

"What the hell is your problem, man!" She yells.

"How is it like? Being Sergio's daughter, Ashley Alvarez?" I ask her.

She looks up at me and throws death glares.

"How do you know who I am?" She asks us.

"We did our research." Cameron answers back.

"I don't need this. If you guys are gonna kick my ass, you'll end up getting your own asses beat. So, come on." She says as she takes off her leather jacket.

"We don't want to fight. We just want to talk." I tell her.

"Ha. Like any of you angels would ever just talk. My dad has told me about you guys." She says.

"Well not all angels are the same." I tell her.

I see that's she's a little on the fence. She looks almost ready to fight.

"Cameron, go make sure the teacher marks all of us in. We'll be there in a little." I tell him.

"Are you gonna be ok here?" He asks.

I nod my head. Then, he grabs his backpack and heads inside, leaving me and her alone.

I need her to talk to me. I need her to listen to me. I need to make her trust me.

"Look, just like I said before, I don't want any problems. I just want to be friends. Not enemies." I tell her.

She looks hesitant. Like something is holding her back.

"We don't have to tell our parents. It can be our little secret. Let's just talk." I give her some reassurance.

"I can't." She says.

"Why?" I ask.

She takes two steps closer to me.

"Because people who have made me promises before, ended up breaking them and leaving me. I can't trust anyone." She tells me but I see no sympathy in her eyes.

"You're lying." I tell her.

She looks straight into my eyes.

"Fine. Believe what you want to hear. At least I'll know I'm telling the truth." She says.

She looks down and turns around to get her jacket and her bag. She's about to walk away when . . .

"Wait." I yell.

She stops in her tracks but doesn't come back.

"Me and Cameron just want to know you. So, if you would like to, meet us by my car. You know where I park." I say as I grab my backpack.

I walk past her and into the building.

I really hope she meets with us.

~After School~
"Are you sure she's coming?" Cameron asks.

I nod my head.

"I know she will. I can feel it." I tell him.

It's been 10 minutes since the bell rang to go home. Me and Cameron have been waiting for 5 minutes. I look at the door to see if she comes out. I really did want her to come. Like I said, there's something special about her. I just can't figure it out. She says that she can't trust anyone but she has to trust someone.

I look back at Cameron and he shrugs his shoulders.

"She would've been here already, huh?" I ask him.

He nods.

"Alright. Let's get in and head out." I tell him.

He goes to the passenger side and I'm heading to the driver's side. All of a sudden, I feel someone pull me back. I turn around and see . . .
