•Shawn's POV•
~after school~
I told Cam that I had to go home and take care of some things. I texted Ashley my address. She texted me back saying that she'll be here in 15 minutes. Right now, I'm cleaning my room so it doesn't look so messy.I heard the door open downstairs. I ran down to see who it was. I look into the living room to see my mom.
"Hey, mom. I didn't know you were going to come home so early." I tell her.
"My boss let me off early today. Why are you home so early? Shouldn't you be at the clubhouse." She asks me.
Quick! Think of an excuse.
"I actually have a tutor coming over." I lie.
"Tutor? For what subject?" She asks.
"History. You know that's not my strongest subject. My teacher suggested that I get a tutor. She should be here in a couple minutes." I tell her as I follow her into the kitchen.
She goes to the fridge and takes out a water bottle. Then, she comes back to the kitchen counter.
"She? It's a girl?" She asks as she raises an eyebrow.
"Yes, mom. It's a girl." I answer.
"Mhm." She says as she goes to the sink to wash her hands.
"She's not, maybe, a new girlfriend? I heard that you and Cristina broke up. Honestly, I never really liked her. She has a big head. And I don't mean that physically." She tells me as she drys her hands.
I hear a knock at the door.
"Me and Cristina are still together. So, no, not a new girlfriend. She's not that important. We'll talk about this later. We're gonna go upstairs to my room and study." I tell her as I grab an apple and head to the door.
I hold the apple in my mouth and clean myself up a little.
"If she's not so important, why are you cleaning up your shirt?" My mom whispers from behind me.
I look over my shoulder and see her smirking.
"I just wanted to . . . uh . . . make sure I wasn't a complete mess." I tell her.
She smiles before she goes back to the kitchen. I open the door and see Ashley on her phone. She looks up and puts her phone in her pocket.
"Hey. Glad you could make it this time." I tell her.
"I had an excuse." She tells me.
I smile at her.
"Why are you smiling?" She asks.
"I can't smile? Is this not a free world?" I say.
"Whatever." She says.
"Come in." I tell her as I move out the way to let her in.
She comes in and I close the door.
"Let's go upstairs to my room. Ladies first." I say as I gesture for her to go upstairs first.
She goes up then I follow behind her. She stops at the top and I go in front of her to lead her to my room. I open my door for her and she goes inside.
God I hope this goes good.
•Ashley's POV•
I step into Shawn's room and look around. This is not how I thought his room would be like. It's so clean. I thought it would be like Mason's room and have clothes all over the floor.I hear the door close and I turn around. I see Shawn let go of the handle and walk towards me.
"You can sit on the bed." He tells me.
