43 -"You must be a special lady."

•Cameron's POV•
I open my front door and the house is dark. Everyone comes in and when I close the door, I turn on the lights and that's when everyone jumps out.

"Surprise!" They all scream.

They all jump back but once realization hits them, they smile. Liz comes to me and gives me a big hug.

"Is this for us?" She asks me.

I smile.

"Of course it is. It's a congratulations for winning the case." I tell them.

Ashley walks up to Shawn.

"Thank you." She tells him.

He smiles at her and nods his head. The music starts to play and me and Shawn start introducing our girls to everyone. Well, my girl. Shawn still hasn't made it official. I introduce Liz to all the guys then to some family. We were talking to my aunt when Shawn comes to us.

"Can I pull Cam away from you guys for a little?" He asks.

Liz and my aunt nod. I let go of Liz's hand and I instantly feel cold. He leads me to the office and closes the door.

"What's up?" I say.

"You have been avoiding your sister, mom and dad this whole time. When will you introduce Liz to them?" He asks.

I sigh.

"Shawn, I don't know. I never even told Liz that my dad was back." I tell him.

I didn't think telling her over the phone was a good idea so I wanted to wait till she got back. Then, Shawn got the smartest idea and wanted to throw them a surprise party at my house. My family agreed because they wanted to meet Liz. I've been avoiding because of my nerves and my dad.

"Look, I know it's hard for you since your dad came back to life and all but at least act normal for once." He tells me.

I nod.

"Fine. I'll introduce her to my parents already." I say.

He smiles. We walk out of the office and go back to the living room. I look for Liz and see her with my sister. I start to panic and run over to them. Once I get there, I put my arm around Liz's waist.

"Well, I see you guys have met." I say.

Liz smile and nods.

"I didn't know you had such a wonderful girlfriend." Sierra tells me.

Liz blushes.

"Oh stop it." She says while hiding her face.

"Well, it's the truth. Anyways, Cam, mom and dad have been looking for you. Come on." Sierra says as she starts to walk outside.

"Your dad?" Liz asks with furrowed brows.

We follow Sierra to the back. I lean down to Liz's height and get close to her ear.

"It's a long story but my dad came back to life." I whisper.

I come back up and look at Liz to see her shocked. I look forward and see we're coming closer to my parents.

"I'll tell you about it later." I whisper.

"Cameron! There you are." My mom says.

She smiles at me and then she looks to the side of me and her smile goes wider.

"And who is this beautiful young lady?" She asks.

Liz extends her hand.

"Hello Mrs. Dallas. My name is Elizabeth but you can call me Liz." She introduces.
