-Laynie arrives at the district and goes into the interrogation room after Antonio gets her up to speed on what they know so far
-As soon as Laynie gets into the room and the door closes he starts repeating about how he didn't kill the girl
-Laynie finally gets him to be quiet and says that she believes him but unless he has proof he has to be charged
-Her CI says that the girl who was murdered was only at his apartment until midnight and once she left he called his cousin and they talked until 12:30
-Laynie leaves the room and has Antonio pull up her CI's phone records; what he told her is true
-They listen to the phone call he had with his cousin and they never hear gunshots in the background
-Voight determines they can let her CI go
-Voight thanks Laynie for coming in to talk to him and then she goes home
