Y/N let out a tired sigh once she put away her gloves and took off her headphones.
Looking down at what she was working on, a scowl decorated her lips. According to her computer and the data, it had collected, these sensors had only a 10% increase in success. That wasn't good, she wanted to get it to at least 50%.
"These won't be finished in time," Y/N mumbled, tapping her finger against her cheek as she thought about what to do next. "The only functioning one is the smallest one. That will only project the sensation of feeling in a small area of the body. And for less than a minute top. That's not what I want to give to these androids..."
"Plus, when am I going to get the biocomponents done? I'll have to get them ready just in case any other Android gets hurt..." Y/N continued. She was growing agitated upon realizing how much she still had to get done. She may have been kicked out of Cyberlife, but, it won't stop her from creating more things related to androids.
She was fascinated with them. Which is why she took the job offer in the first place. Ever since Elijah introduced her to the company and androids...
"Ugh...whatever," Y/N shook her head. She didn't want to relive those memories again, certainly not when she had so much to get done. It was a waste of time. The past is the past.
Even if it comes back to haunt her.
Sighing, Y/N stretched her arms and decided to leave the sensors alone for now. She could get a warm drink and take a shower. Maybe even read...
"That sounds good..." Y/N cooed. A smile decorating her face. "I could even play on the console for a bit--"
Her relaxing thoughts were shattered as a loud, banging sound came from her studio. Y/N jumped, taken by surprise at how harsh sounding that banging sound was.
It immediately dawned on her that it was Connor. Y/N headed to her studio with a small grumble and opened the door. The sound stopped once she took a step into the room.
Y/N blinked at seeing Connor fix his disheveled hair before turning around to look at her. His LED flashed yellow before returning to its usual calm blue.
"What are you doing?" Y/N asked, crossing her arms.
"Attempting to send a report," Connor told her, letting go of his hair and bringing his hand back down to his side.
"Really? I already told you I've blocked you from doing that. Plus," Y/N scowled at him. "I don't think banging against the wall is necessary to send a report."
"I must've crashed onto the wall while I was collecting information," Connor informed her. At seeing her unimpressed expression, Connor added in, "My apologies."
"You're sorry now?" Y/N tilted her head, not taking his blunt apology. She was about to report something else at him, but then shut her mouth as she realized something.
Connor's knuckles were covered in blue blood that was dripping onto the floor. She was sure that there was more blood, it had just evaporated, but at seeing how much blood was coming out of his knuckles, put her on the edge.
"You've hurt yourself," Y/N mumbled, moving her eyes from his knuckles to his dark eyes. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. This hasn't given me any complications," Connor informed her, his dark eyes moving down to look at his bleeding knuckles.
"What have you been doing?" Y/N asked him. She was worried.
"If you want me to be very sincere, then what I was doing was because I want to get out of here. As soon as possible." Connor told her formally. He took a couple of steps towards her but didn't press up against the glass this time.
