(Sorry for late update!! Enjoy!)

"Connor? What are you doing?"

Y/N narrowed her eyes just slightly to see Connor fiddle with the end of his tie. He fiddled with it in a way that could've been seen as nervous, but if that were the case, Y/N had no idea what he could possibly be nervous about.

"You okay?" She asked him and scooted up closer to him.

Connor didn't look at her, but he did stop fiddling with his tie. His LED was yellow, until it returned to its calm blue. He cleared his throat and then looked at her, "Just fine."

"You just seem nervous," Y/N shared and Connor just shrugged.

"I'm functioning fine," Connor told her.

Y/N smiled with amusement. What an odd way to say 'I'm okay'. Ha, it is Connor anyways.

"Alright then," Y/N returned her attention to the book in her hands, but she couldn't delve herself into the story. Connor's presence prodded her attention and she couldn't focus. Not on the book, not on anything except Connor.

Y/N's eyes moved to look at Connor. The android was looking down at his hands on his lap, his expression as emotionless as it could be and his eyes didn't tell Y/N anything.

But even then, it felt almost as if it was the past. Y/N smiled warmly at the thought. Even if Connor wasn't smiling or doing anything important or...android like, his mere presence made Y/N giddy and warm inside.

It's been like this for a while. And it's gotten worse ever since that time where he lied in bed with her. His presence just seemed to make her automatically happy. Exactly like before.

Maybe even more.

But then he left and I couldn't see him again, Y/N's smile vanished at that thought. What if he leaves me again?

No, that won't happen, right? She's secured him and her. She's secured...this. No one could take him or hurt him. He would be safe. And he would be able to stay.

Maybe...if I tell him how much I really enjoy his company, then he might feel the same... Y/N looked away for a brief second. Maybe then he could remember, then he could be...like before...

Even if he doesn't feel the same. Or if he becomes the same as before. Y/N just wanted to tell him how much she truly enjoyed him being here.

"Hey, I just wanted to tell you that..." Y/N started and gulped down the nervous lump in her throat once Connor turned to face her.

"What?" Connor said, his tone oddly quiet. But Y/N ignored that.

"I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I-I just figured that this was the only was it could be done. Maybe I wasn't thinking correctly, I probably shouldn't have-um-" Y/N laughed nervously. "Kidnapped you but-"

She swallowed again, her eyes looked down at her lap and watched herself fiddle with her thumbs. It shouldn't be this hard, it was Connor. She shouldn't be this anxious.

"I really enjoy your company and...I'm just so glad you're here..." She finished that and looked up at him nervously.

Connor looked at her, his LED bright yellow. He stayed in silence, not saying a word, not moving a muscle. Then, he opened his mouth just a bit, to say something, but all Y/N could hear was, "I'm-"
