Y/N pondered with her decision as she stood in front of the studio's door.

She was almost certain that her deal wasn't going to work. He wouldn't take it. Of course, he wouldn't, he's the most advanced model Cyberlife has created. And with Y/N's help, Cyberlife managed to make him extremely cautious about taking decisions and making conclusions. Of course...

He was a detective android after all.

With a sigh, Y/N placed her forehead against the door and closed her eyes.

Even if he was the most advanced model she had helped create, Y/N couldn't fathom with what had happened yesterday.

The utter stupidity of him!
And the way he just plainly ripped out his biocomponent and let himself almost shut down...

Was he really that careless? Did he really not care for himself?

No that's not the case...

Connor obviously had ripped out his biocomponent on purpose. He wanted to get her into the studio and open the enclosure, help him get his biocomponent back in and then make his escape. She had realized that after she left yesterday.

"What a jerk..." Y/N placed her hand on her forehead. Grimacing what had happened yesterday. But she couldn't help but let out a shaky laugh. "I didn't think he'd go that far to get me in there. That was stupid of me..."

But in the end, he could've easily escaped.

Why did he stop to calm me down?
He could've just run!

"Now that was stupid of him..." Y/N muttered out, frowning. "He should've just pushed me off to escape. Hell, he should've just continued on trying to kill me."

It was strange to why Connor just outright decided to stop and help her calm down. It was stupid and unnecessary for his goal to escape, but he did it anyway.

Was he finally breaking through?

Y/N shook her head at that thought. He wasn't, he couldn't be.

The way he looked at the enclosure with disappointed eyes, Connor had regretted not taking the chance.

Just for that moment, Connor didn't see Y/N as a statistic, but as a human. For even a brief moment he helped her, but in the end, he just returned to being the pure machine he thought he was. In the end, she returned to being the obstacle in his mission.

God...whatever.

Sighing, Y/N decided to push those thoughts aside and enter the studio.

"Open," Connor said. Well, Connor didn't say that it was Y/N who did.

No, it sounded like Y/N said it, but her lips never moved to say that. It was Connor who did.

Right, the voice imitator thing he has...

"Imitating me, I see," Y/N lifted both brows and closed the door behind her. "Nice one."

Connor turned to look at her, his LED flashing yellow. His dark eyes traced her up and down, clearly analyzing her.

"You figured out that it was voice controlled, huh?" Y/N asked, leaning against the wall.

"Y/N, you look better than yesterday evening. Have you calmed down?" Connor asked her with his natural voice, straying from the subject and ignoring her question.

Y/N cringed a bit at being reminded of what had happened to her yesterday. Man, he was straightforward, that wasn't too good at times.
