Y/N let out a loud groan once she started to wake up. She desperately wanted to get back to sleep, but for some reason, she couldn't.

Sleep's never been my forte, has it?

"Jesus..."

Y/N gave up on trying to get back to sleep, she sat up slowly from her bed and turned her head to look at her door. It was closed, thankfully.

Her head hurt like crazy though. Was it because she was losing so much sleep for those sensors? She was sure she only slept a few hours last night. The only thing she remembered was talking to Connor in the evening for a short amount of time and then just leaving him to head to work again.

Then maybe around midnight she took a shower, then worked on the sensors...

Then maybe around two, she went to the kitchen to get something to eat? And then went back to the sensors.

The memories blurred together so much that they didn't even make sense anymore. How long has it been like that?

Also what was Connor doing all that time?

Y/N frowned. She kind of felt bad. Leaving him doing nothing for the whole day. Sure, she knew that Connor believed that he couldn't get bored but he must feel something close to that right? Y/N certainly wouldn't like being stuck with a coin for the whole day and do nothing else.

He could turn on the TV, but Y/N remembered that she had ordered him not to touch anything without her permission. He could just ask though? But what's the use of an android just watching TV?

Especially an android designed to be specifically a detective and aid in crime cases.

Doesn't he need to talk to people? Like humans do?

She's never really had a problem with not communicating with people, since she's been alone in this house for so long. Y/N was used to being alone now, so she really didn't know what to do with another person in the house.

Especially if she brought that person here against their own will. Y/N flushed red in embarrassment. Connor must still hate her for that. But at the same time, she didn't really care if he did.

Ah, he also didn't have a room of his own, did he?

If I want him to act more human then why am I not treating him like one?! Y/N scolded herself and softly slapped herself on the cheek as punishment.

Sighing, Y/N decided to get out of bed and change out of her PJs. She'll have a quick breakfast, work on the sensors and figure out what to do about Connor.

Once she was done with that, she walked out into the living room, but stopped in her tracks once she saw Connor laying his head on the couch, covering it with his arms. He looked like he was sleeping, but Y/N was sure he wasn't. He was probably shut off.

But why in the morning? He was usually awake by this time.

"Hey," Y/N muttered out, getting closer to Connor. I thought he didn't need to 'sleep'? He said that himself didn't he?

Connor's face was still covered by his arms as he laid on the edge of the couch silently and deadly still. What was he doing? Was he really just shut off?

"Connor, wake up," Y/N shook his shoulder, yet he still didn't move. Y/N took a step back and bit her lip nervously. What the hell was he doing?

If he was shut off then certainly he would've sensed her shaking him already and he would've started up again. Maybe there was something wrong with him?
