Y/N stifled awake once she sensed that the car had stopped moving. Her eyes blinked themselves into focus and she was able to wake up hearing another song from [f/artist]'s album.

"Did we arrive?" she asked herself. But, she only came to the realisation that she wasn't alone once another voice answered.

"I suppose," Connor answered casually.

Good, I'm still in the car and not in jail or the afterlife, Y/N let out a breath of relief. She was happy Connor hadn't done anything to her. Even if he did, the car would've continued driving and would've remained locked until Y/N gave a command that only came from her. So, even if he killed her, he wouldn't be able to get out of the car. It would be locked for eternity and it would shut down locked. Connor would've had to stay locked in with a rotting corpse for who knows how long. He would also probably freeze to death.

A shiver ran down Y/N's spine. She didn't want Connor to freeze, or stay with her rotting corpse. Maybe that's why he didn't kill her, because he knew what would've happened if he did.

Good thing I made everything android proof, she gave herself a pretend pat on the shoulder and sat up.

"I'm glad you didn't kill me," Y/N told him, a teasing smile flashed on her face.

"I didn't have any intentions of doing so in the first place," Connor explained. His expression was calm and neutral, nothing much showed. His LED still wasn't on, which surprised Y/N. She had expected him to put it on while she was sleeping.

"So you say," Y/N rolled her eyes and shut off the car. She took her keys and left the car into the freezing cold. Of course, Connor was still in there and his hand instinctively reached out to open the door but he did it once and it didn't open. He furrowed his brows and nudged at the door again, he tugged at the doorknob and didn't give up.

Y/N was holding in a loud laugh as she saw him struggle. Connor continued tugging until he looked at Y/N and tilted his head, probably asking her "Would you kindly let me out?"

Y/N gave in and a loud snort escaped her mouth. "Okay okay," She snickered and approached the car door. With no hassle, Y/N opened the car door and smiled at Connor as he got out.

"Welcome back, gentleman," Y/N snickered and beckoned him inside the house. She wanted to stay behind him just in case he planned on escaping.

Connor briefly looked at her before he walked over to the front door. Y/N kept a simple smile on her face and followed right after, keeping herself close to him. He stopped and allowed Y/N to open the door, which she did and then let him go in.

Both of them entered and escaped the cold, Y/N let out a relieved sigh to know she was back home. And Connor was with her.

I didn't lose him on the trip, thank goodness, she smiled. Y/N could say she was quite proud of herself.

"Welcome back home," Y/N said and hung her jacket somewhere. Connor didn't respond, instead, he only looked around the house. He was analysing something, she could tell.

"Something up?" Y/N asked him, blinking her eyes curiously.

Connor shook his head and turned to look at her, "Nothing. I just haven't called any place home."

"That's..." Y/N kept her mouth shut. Pity flooded her. She felt bad for him, he should be able to call somewhere 'home'.

Maybe I can change that.

"Well...I hope you can think of this as your new home then!" Y/N chuckled nervously and took off her gloves. "Since, you're staying here for a while..."
