"Connor?"

Y/N's voice brought Connor out of his trance. He didn't move though, he stayed where he was. Laying on the couch and resting his head on the pillow. Connor had his eyes closed, but opened only one when he heard Y/N come closer.

As she came into view, Connor could see that her hair was damp, meaning she took a shower shortly before coming here. Y/N's lips soon curled upwards.

"Hey, how was your night?" Y/N asked him, a small playful smile was on her face.

Connor looked at her before closing his eye again. He stayed silent for a bit, he was focusing on the feeling of the pillow. He replied a bit later, "It was alright."

He didn't sleep. Well, he technically couldn't 'sleep' but he didn't shut down tonight. Connor didn't do that because he was too busy adjusting to sensation. After the cold test that he went through, Connor didn't want to admit he was done with pain.

Y/N went to bed shortly after. Surprisingly, she had forgotten to remove the sensors on Connor. But Connor didn't notify her.

He didn't want to.

Especially because he knew that if he took the sensors off, this pillow wouldn't feel as comforting. If he took them off, the warmth wouldn't be calming. It'll just be there.

Y/N leaned in closer to him, her smile grew into an amused grin, "Wow, you look extremely comfortable on that pillow. Does it feel like the finest of fabrics?"

Maybe. Connor kept his eyes closed and didn't respond. He was a bit too lost in the sensation. The pillow was warm and the texture was extremely comfortable. It was fluffy, but not fluffy to the extreme, so it didn't make Connor uncomfortable. It didn't make his nose itch or anything. It was a comfortable fluffy. And the warmth that the pillow gave him, was something that Connor hadn't experienced before.

Burrowing his head deeper into the pillow, Connor turned his head away from Y/N. Now I know why humans complain about getting out of bed.

"Wow, I must've been really tired if I didn't remove the sensors from you," Y/N said and then tapped Connor's head. "Get up, I have to get them off you."

"No," Connor involuntarily said. It kind of just slipped out of him.

Y/N giggled. Her laugh made Connor open his eyes just slightly, he was trying to focus on her laugh now, but it didn't come. Connor sighed and closed his eyes again, but opened them again only to narrow them once Y/N shook his shoulder gently.

Y/N prodded Connor with her foot softly. "Come on you big baby, I need to get those sensors off you so I can continue working on them."

Connor didn't say anything and didn't move.

"This isn't very android like, you know?" Y/N informed him. That, made Connor open his eyes in realisation. "You're acting like a cute yet disobedient dog."

SOFTWARE INSTABILITY

Yes...what am I doing...? Connor thought to himself and looked down at the pillow. Gulping, he forced himself to raise his head and put the pillow away. Even if he had his head on it seconds ago, Connor already missed the sensation. He looked at Y/N. "You're right."

"I didn't mean it," Y/N blinked, apparently regretting what she had said. "But at least I got you up."

"Hm..." Connor replied nonchalantly. He was kind of confused as to why he acted like he did. Were the sensors changing something inside him? He hoped not. He should get rid of them.
