SYSTEM REBOOTING...

ALL SYSTEMS OPERATIONAL

Connor started to come back to focus once something startled him 'awake'. He also became notified of the weight on top of him.

Right...

Connor opened his eyes and looked down at Y/N. She had, indeed, fallen asleep and looked comfortable. It was around seven in the morning and her sleep hadn't been disturbed. Maybe his suggestion truly did work.

Connor laid his head back on the couch and placed a hand on his face. Why does he always get stuck in these situations? They just made his attempt to getting back to normal worse.

Connor moved his hand off his eyes and looked down at Y/N. The young woman was still sleeping, her eyes were closed and her breathing was slow. Judging by the light outside, Connor figured it was maybe around nine or ten. By now, Connor was sure that Y/N would've woken up and gone into her studio, worked on something and then come out. But she hadn't.

In fact, unlike those days, she wasn't sleeping in the studio. She wasn't dozing off on her desk.

She was sleeping on Connor. Her breathing told him she was and he could sense her breathing right on his chest.

The weight of her on top of him really wasn't bothersome. In fact, Connor wasn't uncomfortable at all with the idea of Y/N on top of him, sleeping peacefully. He was, however, uncomfortable with the fact that he was enjoying it so much.

Where are the sensors? That stray thought almost caught Connor by surprise. Was he really this comfortable with Y/N on top of him that he wanted to actually feel her?

SOFTWARE INSTABILITY

Stop, this has to stop now. Or it'll get worse. Connor's LED flashed yellow and he let out a small sigh.

|| GET HER OFF ||

Connor kept his eyes on Y/N. Although he was sure his software planned on him waking her up firmly, he really wasn't planning to do that. In fact, he didn't find the position he was in uncomfortable and honestly he wasn't planning to move in the first place.

|| MOVE ||
|| GET HER OFF ||

The more his software reminded him, the more Connor became convinced. He let out a silent sigh and then tried to wake Y/N up. But he couldn't bring himself to physically shake her and firmly tell her to wake up and get off.

"Y/N," Connor mumbled close to her ear, trying to gently wake her up. "Y/N...it's morning."

Y/N did nothing, in fact, she seemed to get more comfortable and her sleep got deeper. Her head nuzzled up against his chest just a bit more and she let out a soft huff through her nose. Her breathing told Connor that she was nowhere near being awake.

I don't want to wake her. I'll be disturbing her if I do. Connor's lips curled downwards just a bit. She looks so peaceful.

SOFTWARE INSTABILITY

"Y/N..." Connor tried again. He knew she wouldn't wake up, especially not this way. His software was forcing him to firmly wake her up, but he held himself back. He didn't want to. "Y/N, wake up, its morning."

Finally, he got an answer from her.
But she wasn't awake. Not fully.

"It's too early..." Y/N muttered, digging her head into his chest a bit more. "It's too early, Connor..."
