"Oh my god! Oh my god oh my god-"
Y/N jumped on the spot as excitement ran through her body. A huge grin was plastered on her face. She couldn't believe that Connor had gotten them to work. After days of working on them, Connor was the one one who eventually got them to finally function.
"We've got to test them! You need to practice feeling sensation!" Y/N told him with her smile still on her face.
"What are we going to do then?" Connor asked her, his dark brown eyes flashed with a bit of concern.
Y/N's smile didn't falter, but her eyes moved to look out the window. The snowstorm was not as bad, but it would certainly be able to make him feel the cold. Feel as in, feel the painful cold wind and snow.
"Y/N, it's...8°F (-13.33°C) outside," Connor informed her. He had caught on with her idea. "I would be able to feel it. But, that's not what's critical."
"What's critical then?" Y/N moved her eyes down to him. She tilted her head.
"You'll freeze," Connor told her simply. "You were cold before. I'll have to warm you up if we go outside."
"What do you mean warm me up?" Y/N smiled at him. "You don't have to-"
"Wait," Y/N blinked. She remembered that she had fallen asleep. Where did she fall asleep...? In her studio. But then why did she wake up on her bed?
"Did you carry me to my room?" Y/N asked him, her eyes widened.
Connor hesitated to answer. Before he nodded plainly.
"And...you said you warmed me up..." Y/N was trying to arrange all the pieces together. Before she had fallen asleep, she remembered that Connor asked her if he could hug her. If he was in her room by the time she woke up, what exactly was he...
"Did you stay with me on the bed?" Y/N asked him once that came to her mind.
Connor looked away for a second and stayed in silence. Y/N furrowed her brows a bit and walked closer to see his face and she widened her eyes when she saw just a very faint flush of bright blue on Connor's cheeks.
Connor closed his eyes and turned to face her. The blushing was fading, but he looked nervous and he also looked like he was desperately trying to hide the fact that he was nervous. "Yes."
"You did?" Y/N blinked.
Connor nodded, "Yes.""That's..." Y/N searched for the words she wanted to say. She was a bit shocked to hear that he actually stayed with her to keep her warm. Even if she was shocked, she couldn't keep the joyful feeling bubbling up in her. She shrugged with one shoulder, but a smile adorned her lips, "That's sweet of you."
"It is?" Connor asked, blinking once.
Y/N let out a small chuckle and nodded. "Yep, it's sweet because I know you could've thought of everything but keeping me company, yet you did."
"True," Connor looked away, his blush had gone away now. "But I'm not sure why my software thought of that first. I suppose it was the quickest decision..."
I hope you did it because you wanted to stay with me, Y/N thought of that silently. Her smile grew just a bit at the thought of it. No wonder she slept so well, it was because Connor was there warming her up.
"But, I believe it was the best option, because if I wasn't present, then your nightmare might've been worse," Connor told her.
Y/N's smile dwindled, "I had a nightmare?"
"Yes," Connor nodded and looked at her for a second. "Unfortunately."
Y/N thought about it. She couldn't remember much about the nightmare she had.
