(Some grammar mistakes may be here since I wrote this on my phone but enjoy nonetheless!)

Y/N crept out of the car cautiously once it stopped right in front of her house. The cold hit her immediately, but she tolerated it. As much as she could anyways.

She had let Connor go first, so she could see where he was going and could make sure nothing happened to him.

Once she was out, she shut the door and glared at the self-driven car. Y/N glared at it almost as if she knew Elijah had a camera or something on it. He could be watching everything for all she knew.

The car drove away once Y/N was out of it's way and Y/N continued to glare at it until it was out of sight. She was furious at Elijah, she really was. Risking the life of her and Chloe was stupid and cruel. She probably wouldn't have cared if she came out dead, but she would've cared to see Connor be forced to make such a hard decision. And that's mostly why she's furious at him.

Scowling, Y/N turned around and headed towards her house, her priorities changing to getting out of this freezing cold.

Connor was waiting for her by the door. Little pieces of snow started collecting up in his messy dark brown hair and were also falling onto his suit.  Y/N gazed into his eyes and she saw...nothing.

Nothing at all.

They were dull and emotionless. It was almost as if she was staring into two voids. But even if they expressed nothing, Y/N knew that he was feeling something. The way he reacted at Kamski's house showed proof of that.

Y/N wanted to hug him, hug him and never let go, but she decided to push that away once she reminded herself that it was him that got them to Elijah in the first place.

She didn't know whether she was angry at him or not, but she certainly wasn't happy.

Sighing, Y/N opened her door easily by allowing her security system to recognise her. At seeing her face, the door clicked, unlocked itself and Y/N stepped inside. Followed by Connor, who was trailing slowly behind her.

Y/N silently took off her coat and jacket, relieved to finally be out of the cold and home. She turned to look at Connor, but didn't say anything. And neither did he.

He wasn't looking at her, he was looking at the floor. The LED on his temple had remained a bright red ever since they left Elijah's house. His eyes were distracted, he wasn't really here.

Y/N had an idea of what could possibly be troubling him, but she didn't express it. She just watched him silently, trying to see what he'll do.

Will she get an apology?
Will he express his feelings?
Will he deny the fact that he saved Y/N?
Is he regretting his decision to spare her life?

Whatever the answers are to those questions, Y/N didn't bother asking them to begin with.

With a sigh, she stretched out her hand toward Connor.

"Come on, let's get you warmed up," Y/N mumbled, trying to sound as friendly as she could.

Connor didn't take her hand, he walked right past her and she watched him with narrowed eyes.

Y/N followed Connor closely as he walked toward the couch and then all of a sudden stopped.

Confused by this, Y/N approached him and softly placed a hand on his shoulder. "Connor, come on let's warm you-"

She cut herself off once she saw his expression. It flashed into a terrified one, his lips parted as he seemed to want to say a few words and his body trembled. Until he collapsed.
