(Sorry for late update!)

"Good morning,"

Connor's voice was the first thing Y/N heard once she stepped out of her room. To be honest, she didn't quite mind him greeting her so casually. It was a huge contrast to being alone all the time.

A smile played at her lips, "Good morning."

Once she said that  Y/N headed towards the kitchen to get herself some breakfast. She briefly looked at Connor once he asked her how she had slept.

"Um, pretty okay, I guess," Y/N shrugged as she answered his question. "Why are you asking?"

"You stayed up late last night," Connor answered her question. "I was just checking if you had gotten enough sleep."

"Ah, Connor," Y/N rolled her eyes playfully. "You know I stay up really late almost all the time, don't you?" Y/N told him, a smile was on her lips.

"I know that, but you stayed up particularly late this time," Connor explained his answer. "In addition, you left your studio at around four in the morning and headed to your room."

"Yeah? I headed to my bed?" Y/N lifted a brow.

Connor calmly looked at her, he tilted his head softly, "Usually you fall asleep in your studio and wake up in the morning on your desk."

"Which means..?" trailed off Y/N.

"Which means that you were awake all the time from seven at night until four in the morning," Connor further explained, his gaze calm. "You've barely gotten any sleep."

"Wow," Y/N blinked. "You've been analysing my sleeping pattern? I didn't think you would care about how much sleep I get."

Connor's reply to that was brief silence. The LED on his temple flashed yellow and that sign of confusion was also accompanied by a straying gaze.

"I guess I have," muttered Connor.
"Why?" Y/N smiled with amusement.

"It's just something I've noticed," Connor explained quickly. "I also just wanted to warn you. For your wellbeing."

Y/N smiled and shook her head softly. She returned to preparing her breakfast, but this time, with an amused smile on her face. She was about to take a sip of her drink until Connor interrupted her from doing so.

"Have you looked out the window recently?" Connor asked her out of the blue. Y/N looked at him with puzzled eyes.

"The weather has remained the same for today," Connor informed her, looking at her closely in the eyes.

"Oh?" Y/N blinked. "Really? I haven't noticed."

As Y/N waited for his answer, she didn't know why she was getting a bit lost in those dark brown eyes of his. Maybe the way they just dig deep into her own eyes allured her, who knows.

"Yes," Connor nodded and turned to face towards the window. Y/N blinked, finally snapping out from that trance that Connor's eyes put her in. "I wanted to inform you because I figured it would be useful for you to know that,"

"You didn't finish your job before, so I would recommend going out now and continue to clear out the snow," Connor casually explained. He turned his dark eyes to meet Y/N's own [e/c] eyes. "It'll be a shame to miss this chance."
