You can either make me laugh,
or you can frustrate me
all in one day.
Sometimes you make me feel happy inside.
Sometimes you make me feel sorry for both you and myself.
Sometimes you do infuriate me,
but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Love cats? Me too.

our bond is tight
is our love of
those adorable, derpy cats!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember when I was writing that chapter for my novel
where you and I were included as characters!
You made sure that I knew
The names of your dog, Dogos,
and your uncle's cat, Blacky!
Plus, I also put in my dad's cat, Tiger!
Those memes you used to keep sending
drove the whole group chat into a frenzy!
I remember cracking up at all those links
to random YouTube vids of weirdness!
I get annoyed at how
you never answer our texts
all because you want over nine thousand notifications
to blow up your phone
so that you can get a new one!
I have a feeling that we won't even talk
until the next school year begins.
Sometimes you drove me crazy;
sometimes you talk shit that frustrates me;
but you're one of the new and the familiar
who became a good friend along the way.
If I had to choose a friend to hang out with,
there's a good chance that I'd choose you.
You annoy me to death all the time,
and that's what makes you my friend-
I'd be fine with that all the damn time.
You're that adorable cat lover
who's not the best at keeping his mouth shut,
but I'm glad I met you in sixth grade.
It'll be hard to say goodbye once high school starts.
You having to move after middle school
only pushes forward the fear
of friends I grew close to
move away.
I wish you didn't have to move so much,
but hopefully for the next two years,
us cat lovers will stick together
no matter what adolescence throws at us.
I like keeping track of my friends' birthdays.
Most likely you won't read this till school starts again,
but I had fun being friends with you,
and I'll always be there for you,
