How's life?
Tell me all the truths you've been hiding.
Small talk is a pretty decent cure,
and with laughter mixed in,
it's the best medicine.
I'll stay in your lane
as long as you keep driving around mine.
Tell me how you've been doing
without me?
I've been meaning to say
"I miss you, please come back,"
but I ain't trying to act too needy,
so I'll just ask, "where you at?"
and maybe you can answer,
and that will start things up again,
and it can be better than what it used to be.
As long as I know where we're both at.
Don't want to lose you again.
Take a drive, turn the radio up
to block out the old memories.
Distract yourself from where I might be
without you.
Tell me,
is it easier
where you've been?
Have the things that you said
slipped out of your mind
like I wished they would for me?
Where you at?
That's all I want to ask you.
Maybe we could start talking like friends again.
Where you at?
It's only me that's stopping me
from telling you that I still exist.
Where're you going? Where you at?
Tell me if you've gotten into crashes
without me.
I'll visit the nightclub you own.
Might get a little bit hungover,
but at least tonight it'll be the best
that you and I have ever had.
Everyone's trying to say hi to me,
but I only got eyes on you.
Maybe tonight you can actually
see me and say,
"come over here and dance with me."
"Where you at?" is what I'll ask
when I realize it's only a one night stand.
Where you've been? Where are you going?
Thought this wasn't just a fling.
Tell me if you still think of me,
or if you're not as homesick as I've been.
Where you at? Take me home-
to the home that is me and you.
How's life?
Tell me all the truths you've been hiding.
Small talk is a pretty rare cure,
and with laughter mixed in,
it's your best medicine.
I'll try to stay in your lane
as long as you'll keep driving around mine.
You can hit me up and tell me how
you've been doing
without me.
