Take one look at me
and you'll see someone
who's doing just fine.
Sometimes he'll be dead silent-
calm and collected.
Then he'll be on the floor chuckling
as if life is just that joyful and funny.
But if you really did try to look real close,
you still won't hear my silent screams.
Under my veil,
I scream for everything I want-
everything I need...
anything that can help me
gather back all my fallen pieces together.
You see me dead silent
when all I want to do is scream for help.
I cry longingly everyday,
but no one ever notices...
sometimes even I don't notice it.
If only my screams were never drowned out
by the sorrowful silence between all of us.
Maybe you could actually hear
my silent screams...
but would you respond to them at all?
